"Ma'am, sir, there's nothing we can do at this point. We are not exactly sure what has happened to your daughter, but it seems some of the nerves in her brain have collapsed, during her sleep, causing extreme memory loss. I'm sorry."

Cold-hearted. She didn't care. The nurse was just there to do her job. There was no sympathy in her whatsoever.

tears rolled down my cheeks as I looked into the hospital room. She didn't know me anymore. She didn't know me. She had no idea why some 'random person' was sitting outside her door. She was clueless.

"There has to be something!" I screamed, shooting out of the wooden, creaky chair. My heart pounded in horror, anger, sadness as everyone shrugged.

"Listen to the nurses, nessa. There's nothing we can do to solve this." My dad gulped, a single tear rolling down his cheek.

"What are we going to do then?" I croaked, staring at roni, lying there, once again. I got shrugs in return.

Was I the only one that cared about my sister? Apparently so. They had lost all hope, and decided to give up.

I wasn't going to give up.

Ignoring the shouting behind me, I walked into the room which roni was lying in, trying to hold back more tears.

"R..roni?" I tried speaking, but it came out as more of a whisper. However, it did catch her attention.

"Hey? Sorry, how do you know my name?" She asked, staring at me in a funny way.

"Roni you need to listen to me. So you've lost your memory. I'm your twin roni! I'm your other half! We have a YouTube channel, remember? Do you remember? Please remember roni, I... I don't know what I'm going to do without you roni. I need you... please."

"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are."

I cried.

"They've all given up, you know. They don't think we can bring the old roni back. But I know you're in there, somewhere." She looked at me, confused. "You live with us, remember? If you don't, that's okay, but are you okay with coming home?" She nodded.

later

"Okay, looks like she's good to go home. Hopefully you're all doing okay, and you'll soon be able to adjust to the changes roni. Have a nice day." The nurses smiled sadly at us as we walked out of the hospital.

"Oh my god! You're.... you're roni and nessa! I love your guys'  videos so much!" A small girl appeared from around the corner, squealing and smiling.

"How do you know my name?" I looked to my left to see a quite startled roni, staring at the fan. The girl looked back, confused.

"I watch your youtube videos!" The girl smiled widely, jumping up and down.

"I..im sorry, I think you have the wrong person. I don't have a youtube channel. Why does everyone keep saying I do?" Roni replied, and my heart broke.

every time roni questioned anything about us, herself, or anything, my heart broke a little bit more.

My name's Vanessa. I'm 20 years old and my twin sister doesn't know she's my sister.
