~The previous night~

"Juvia, my love," her mother sighed as they sat at the table. Juvia could tell that this was serious as of the way her mother started the conversation.
Juvia tucked a strand of blue hair behind her ear before returning her hands to their original state: linked together on her lap.
She sniffed, hard enough that her shoulders rose then fell with the inhale. Her whole body felt so weak from the harsh split of her "relationship", the frightening antics of the evening, and the thought of leaving the security of The Element Four.

Juvia felt her mother's warm hands fold over her own, causing Juvia to lift her face and stare her glossy blue eyes at her mother's green ones. She often longed to share those emerald green eyes, that short brown hair, anything to make her look like her mother. Or to have that thick blonde hair and those chocolate brown eyes like her father. But Juvia had to accept that she would never look like her parents, but hoped she could learn from what they've taught her and carry that on. If it would stop people mistaking her for their niece or even a younger sister, then anything would do.

"We've been so worried about you," her mother croaked. "You've become more and more distant from us these past months, ever since you found those friends of yours and...we know your not our happy girl anymore, Juvia," she shook her head as if she couldn't go on.

"What your mother is trying to say," her father carried on instead, placing a firm hand on Juvia's shoulder. "Is that we think you need a fresh start."

Juvia looked at her parents, confused. "Fresh start?" She asked.

"Remember we said last month that we planned to move soon?" Her father questioned, and Juvia nodded. Her parents had wanted to move out of Granite Bay for a while, it wasn't a very friendly neighbourhood.

Her father smiled, "How does two days sound?"
Juvia gasped in shock. "So soon? Are you sure?"

"Juvia," her mother said softly, "I know it'll be difficult to leave all this behind, but-"

Juvia dived towards her mother to pull her in for a tight embrace. Moving to a new neighbourhood would be the perfect opportunity to start over. A place where nobody knows her. A place where she can feel accepted, even if her past follows her along she knows that she is home.

"Thank you, thank you for this..." Juvia cried through joyful sobs into her mother's chest. She felt her mother's grip tighten around her back, and her father walking over to wrap his arms around the both of them.

Juvia pulled away to show a wide grin to her mother, "Where are we going?" She asked timidly. Her mother chuckled at her eagerness.

"Magnolia."

Juvia felt her breath hitch as the word echoed through her ears. This meant The Element Four could still reach her...but Magnolia was still a place she only dreamed of living in. It was beautiful and mostly peaceful. She let herself smile in relief, "I can't wait, where will I go to school?"

"Here," her father said before leaving the warm embrace to retrieve a leaflet from a side table behind them. He handed her the leaflet and Juvia felt her eyes widen when she took it.

'Fairy Tail High'

"We know it's a very good school, the daughter of an old classmate of your father's goes there currently and we've heard great things!" Her mother gushed.

"Wow," Juvia whispered in awe.

Wait, doesn't gray attend this school?

Her father rested a cold hand on her cheek, "Juvia, you've gone pink, you must have a cold from all that rain."

"How about you get yourself to bed," her mother stroked her hair whilst Juvia was still fixated on the leaflet in her hand, "It's Saturday tomorrow so you can have a nice sleep in and we can talk more when you're better, hm?"
Juvia nodded and yawned, finally letting the tiredness take over her body as she felt so exhausted.

She stared at her ceiling unable to sleep, either from excitement or the thought of being in a school with such an interesting guy like Gray Fullbuster.
