Gilinsky's POV

"You're so beautiful," I compliment her — knowing that it'll fluster her.

"Thanks. You look better though," she smiles as her cheeks tint with a colour of crimson red.

"I could never," I chuckle and place her soft hand in mine — bringing it to my lips and kissing it softly.

"Alright, fine. You win," she giggles.

I grab her coffee cup and drink from it. She playfully slaps my hand.

"Hey you have your own!" she makes a pouty face.

"Oopsie," I nonchalantly shrug and place her cup right back beside her.

"Hey um, are you still free to go to Homecoming with me tonight?" she stutters; shyly fiddling with her fingers.

"Of course I am, baby."

She smiles and leans over to pick my lips.

I can't wait for tonight.

Madison's POV

I was applying my last bit of makeup, staring at myself in my body length mirror when I heard a car honk from outside.

I scurry to the window to see a black limousine parked in front of the house. It must be Jack.

A smile creeps its way onto my lips as I fumble down the stairs. Ugh! Nerves.

I hurry out of the door after saying bye to my mom and being forced to take pictures for her.

Standing there, waiting for me, is my handsome homecoming date.

He holds his hand out, which I gladly take.

"You look stunning, babe," he pecks my lips lightly and walks us to the limo — opening the door for me.

"What a gentleman?" I smile and slide in as he jogs over to the other side and does the same.

The ride shortly passes and we're soon in front of the double doors of my school.

Oh yeah, I forgot, Jack and I don't go to the same school. My parents thought that Westside High School was a bad school filled with ignorant and uneducated students (not true at all it's just for the book lmao). It kinda annoyed me and still does, since I can't see my boyfriend quite frequently.

Anyways, back to the story I guess? P.s. I'll try not to do this 'author or narrator speaks to audience' thingy-kind-of-stuff. Hehe. . .

Jack and I walk into the school, hand in hand.

We're met with a huge room full with well dressed students from all four grades, and loud, bass blasting music, illuminating lights everywhere — ya know — that kind of stuff.

"Would you like me to go and get you anything, Mad?" Jack asks me with a soft smile.

"Yeah, sure. I'd like a water, please."

"Coming right up, madame." he mocks a fake British accent and tips his invisible hat.

He knows that I love his attempt of impersonating British people (I hope that didn't come out wrong. Sorry if it did. Hehe don't hate me). It made him seem silly — and I really enjoy the silly side of Jack.

He comes back a few minutes later with two cold bottles of water in his hands. He hands one to me and opens the one remaining in his hand — chugging it down in a matter of seconds.

I giggle and wipe some small droplets of water from the corner of his mouth.

"Wanna dance with me, peng ting?" he asks in the same British accent from earlier.

"Well I can't find a reason not to, lad." I retort in the accent as well.

He chuckles lightly and takes me out to the dance floor.

I wrap my arms around his neck as he wraps his around my waist.

We sway our bodies in sync with the slow song playing loudly from the bass bumping speakers.

I lean up to attach my lips to his — he moved his lips along with mine — allowing them to move perfectly together; almost like puzzle pieces. From then on, I already knew that,

This night is going to be amazing.
