This hotel was different than the others. It was alive. From the ancient staircase to the quiant woods floors, it all saw centuries.

After the couple's timely arrival, there was a distinct shift in the hotel's atmosphere. The maids gossiped more, the cooks made even more delish food and the concierge hummed to himself whenever he felt like it.

Diana was drunk after her- God knows how many drinks she had, she was half way gone. Her expensive dress was a crumpled mess and her make up was smeared across her arm while she laid on it.

The bar was silent of not for the occasion cling of the glass. She toasted the air.

"To everything that went wrong." She mustered, before downing the drink at one go. Everything was a blur for her as time appeared to speed by.

She put a hand across her stomach to try and dull the ache she felt. God she was sick. She pulled herself up and tried to walk out of the bar. It did not seem to work for she tripped over her heels before she could even reach the elevator.

"Are you okay miss?"

She could not see his face, but his voice sounded young. Perhaps 23 just like her.

"Whaaa?"she slurred, barely awake.

"Let me help you to your room, what number is it?"

466, she wanted to say. But poor Diana had already drifted off by then, leaving herself in the hands of a handsome stranger.

While she was off on her little escape, Tommy was growing more and more paranoid by the minute.

Surely that whore was with the concierge from before. Oh Tommy had seen how she looked at him! He had known it from the start, that she was fated to be a cheater. He should had known better than to let her into his family. His friends had warned him of her reputation, he had waved them off and assured himself that she would not cheat once he had charmed her.

From then on Tommy had shown up beside her locker everyday with a freshly bought flower until she agreed to go out with him. They were highschool sweethearts who got married. The envy of all others.

The more he was left to his thoughts, the more angry he became. Tommy lifted up a chair and threw it at the wall with all his might and a leg broke. Not satisfied, he picked up another one and flung it across the room.

He threw open the room door and marched down in a blind rage, not caring how rampant he looked.

"Where is he?" He yelled, his voice loud and booking across the quiet lobby.

"Where are you at you son of a bitch!"

A maid scampered after him, her voice shaking with fear, "Sir, please keep your voice down."

He took one look at her and pushed her aside, ignoring her thud as her body hit the ground.

Suddenly, the door behind the concierge table opened to reveal the man in his uniform.

"Sir," He started, oblivious to Tommy's anger, "how may I help?"

Tommy took note of the top button which was not buttoned on his blazer. His eyes flared as his fists clenched by his side, "You scum!"

He took a swing at the man, connecting his fist with his left cheek. Then, he took another, and another. He did not even stop when his body was limp and lifeless, with the horrified maid watching helplessly as she tried to crawl away because her legs felt like jelly.

Tommy turned to her, his eyes emotionless and his face filled with violence.

He walked over to her calmly, and stroked her hair. He noted how smooth out felt against his finger, and then he pulled on it as hard as he could. Until he heard the crunch of her scull. He went into the room and looked for his unfaithful wife.

She wasn't there.

But how?

He was so sure. He was never wrong. She must have ran away. That's right, she must have heard him and was too much of a coward to own up to her own mistakes!

What was in the room however, was a screen monitor. He searched and searched, waiting for her panicking figure to appear.

It never did however.

The hotel watched as the man who owned everything but had nutting pull on his hair in disbelief. It was time.

The door slammed shut as the monitors went black, Tommy was all alone now.

Well, not completely alone. He still had the Hotel.

Perhaps almost as unforgiving as the Hotel. Judgement will await Tommy, what do you think his ending will be?
