THE NEXT DAY
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE*-
"Ugh, alarms are so annoying!"
~Oops, I said that out loud. I hope I didn't wake up my parents...or my older sister...or my other older sister...or my younger brother. You know what, scratch that last part, I hope he heard that. Muahahaha.
Anyway, time to get ready for another day of school! Wow, this is the first time I'm actually excited about going to school. I'm so excited to see Brian today! But I have to look cute. What to wear? What to wear? Decisions. Decisions.~
*Yeah I know. I think about stupid stuff in the morning. Let's get back to what happens next.*
I open my bottom drawer and picked out a pair of black skinny jeans and then closed it. Then I open the middle drawer and dug through it to find my white shirt with black stripes and then closed it. I walked to the bathroom across the hall to change because it has a body mirror in it that helps me decide if the outfit looks good. It did. The only problem was that I felt like I was showing to much skin, so I went back into my room to get my black cardigan. The cardigan actually made it look cuter, so that was a BONUS.
Since I was already in the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and then untangled my hair. It looked like a bird's nest. Once I finished with my hair, I walked back into my room and opened the top drawer to get a pair of black socks and then went downstairs to get my black vans with white shoelaces. Could you guess my favorite color?
While I was putting on my shoes, I heard a door open and then I heard keys rattling so I assumed my older sister had woken up to take me to school. I checked the time and it said it was 7:03 so it was around the time she usually got up. I went into the dinning room to grab my backpack while my sister was walking down the stairs. I walked back out to the living room with my backpack in hand while she was walking down the last few steps of the staircase.
"Are you ready to go?" She asked me in her morning voice.
"Yeah let's go."

The car ride lasted about 20 minutes and neither of us said a word because, lord knows she's not a morning person. I went inside the school expecting to see an empty Student Union, but when I got in I could barely walk. I don't know why all these people decided to hang out in the downstairs area of the school at the same time. I made my way to the main stairs and ran up. It was A LOT less crowded on the second floor. If I had to guess, I would say that there were about 6 people in total on the upper floor, including me. I decided to sit at a table that was in the middle hallway and read a book that was there.
I opened the book to a random page and started reading from there. (I never did like the beginnings of books, I find them boring and useless.) I read one paragraph before I heard someone speak.
"Miranda?" It was a male voice, and a familiar one at that.
I turned around and saw Tristen standing about 10 feet away from me.
"Oh, hey Tris. What's up?"
"I should be asking you that. I saw you come in from down stairs and run up here."
"Well yeah, it's way too crowded down there and there is practically nobody up here. It's ridiculous!"
"Hahaha. Yeah I guess you're right. So, what are you reading?" he asked, pointing the book I had found on the table.
I realized that I didn't even read the title before I started to read it.
"Uhhh, I have no idea" I said in a confused tone "I found it on the table and just started reading it." I closed the book and read the title. "Apparently I'm reading a book called Revenge of the Koalas..... What a title."
"Hahaha. What? Why would you be reading that?"
"Because I was bored!"
"Well have no fear, Tristen is here."
"....... Did you really just say that?" I had a creeped out expression on my face when I asked, and apparently it was hilarious because Tristen couldn't stop laughing.
"Ok, Tristen, calm down, you can stop laughing now. It wasn't even that funny, really."
"Haha, you're right, hehe, I'll stop laughing now."
He stopped laughing and we looked at each other. Then....
*both*
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
I don't know why I started laughing. I guess it was because he looked red and out of breathe.
"What's so funny?" We heard a voice say. We both turned to look who it was.
"What?" Brian said as Tristen and I starred at him. "Why are you guys starring at me?"
"Nothing, I'm just glad to see you. I thought you were downstairs or something" I said with a huge smile on my face. Tristen, on the other hand, looked completely annoyed. I get this feeling that he doesn't like Brian. I don't know why though.
"Nah, it's way too crowded down there. Plus, you're up here."
I started to blush big time.
"Eh-em" Tristen said, annoyed, pointing out that he was there too.
"You, both, are here." Brain corrected himself, he too sounded annoyed.
I honestly don't know why they don't like each other. Then we heard the bell ring.
"Oh, hey guys I have to go. If I don't leave now I'll never make it on time because of the 'traffic' downstairs." I said while I picked up my backpack from the floor.
Brian offered to go with me,"I can walk you if you want."
"NO!" Tristen yelled, worriedly "I mean, we have first period together, remember, so I think you and I should walk together, Brian."
"Um, yeah, I guess that would be ok." Brian responded.
"Kay, cool, have fun walking together. Bye!" I said and made my way to first period. But as I turned the corner I heard Tristen say something. Or should I say, yell something.
"What's your problem?!"
When I heard that, I stopped walking and leaned on the wall like spies do when they're in stealth mode.
"What are you talking about?" Brian asked with a little anger in his voice.
"Stop flirting with Miranda, I liked her first and I call dibs!" Woe! What?! Tristen has a thing for me? ..... Dammit
"She's not the last slice of pizza, Tristen, you can't just call dibs on her!" Brian began to yell as well.
"I don't care, I just did! You got a problem with it?!"
I could hear Tristen pushing Brian Oh my god! Are they going to fight ?!?!
