"Percy. . . . Wake up. We're here," Jason says while poking Percy awake.

Percy slowly opens his eyes to see Jason smirking in the doorway of the carriage.

"What?"

Thalia, who is sitting across from Percy, rolls her eyes. "We are at Camp Half-Blood, idiot."

Percy smiles and grabs his stuff. "Let's go then."

Percy steps out of the carriage to see the camp in the valley below him. They are near Athens and on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, so Camp Half-Blood's boundaries stretch from the sea to a forest and rolling hills. Percy becomes excited as he sees teens, satyrs and other creatures roaming the camp and doing all sorts of cool activities: archery, combat, theater, music, canoeing, swimming, chariot racing, strawberry picking and more. He also sees many different cabins and a big house off to the side. Percy starts to comment on how cool the camp looks when a distracted Thalia climbs out of the carriage and slams into a large pine tree by accident.

"Ow!"

Percy and Jason both burst out laughing.

"Watch out, Pinecone face!" Percy giggles.

Thalia groans and rubs her sore nose. "The irony is that my father put this tree here to protect us. All it's done so far is harm me."

The boys grab their bags and walk down the hill to the big house with Thalia following a few feet behind. As they approach the house, a young satyr comes out to greet them.

"Perrrrrcy!" he bleats.

"Grover?!" Percy cries in disbelief. "Hey, man. Long time, no see! What happened to you? You disappeared several years ago. I missed you!"

Grover smiles and hugs Percy. "Sorry. I've been searching for Pan. Your dad gave me a clue to find Pan, and I got carried away! I have made so much progress and never found time to visit Corinth."

"It's okay. I know how important Pan is to you. But abandoning your best friend has consequences, Grover. Now you have to share me," Percy smirks.

"You mean, with Jason? I thought you only hang out with him because he is your cousin," Grover says.

Jason frowns. "Wow, thanks, Percy. I really appreciate it."

Percy rolls his eyes. "Not anymore. Ever since you ditched me, Grover, Jason and I have grown real close."

"Aww. Thanks, bro," Jason gushes while blushing.

"G-man, you're my best friend, but Jason is my bro. Is that okay?" Percy asks.

"Perfect." Grover smiles.

Thalia groans and says, "If you guys are done, can we please check in now? I don't know about you, but I want to ditch my stuff and get some food."

"Oh, right!" Grover says. "Mr. D and Chiron sent me out here to bring you inside. Follow me!"

Thalia, Percy and Jason follow Grover onto the porch of the big house and around a corner to where Mr. D and Chiron are playing cards. Chiron looks up and smiles while Dionysus frowns and swears under his breath.

"Welcome, young demigods! What a pleasure to see you," Chiron says. "Percy, I trust you have been practicing what I have taught you?"

Chiron gives Percy combat lessons once a month so he can become an expert swordsman. Percy loves the lessons and his teacher.

"Yes, sir!" Percy smiles. "I've been waiting to show you my improvement. I think you'll be pleased."

Dionysus rolls his eyes. "Ok, enough chit chat. Let's get this over with. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. If you ever have to speak to me, I will be addressed as Mr. D. Be good or else I'll turn you into a dolphin. Grover will take you to your cabins. Perry Johnson, you are in cabin 3. Jaron and Talon Grape, cabin 1. Goodbye." Dionysus turned back to his cards.

Chiron smiled at the kids. "He's a little cranky today...or should I say, crankier than usual? Anyway, we are thrilled to have you here at camp. You can head to your cabins now and settle in. See you at dinner!"

Grover lead Percy, Jason and Thalia down to the cabins. Jason and Thalia got dropped off a at cabin 1. Since the cabins are divided by godly parent, Thalia and Jason are the only kids staying in their cabin. Percy gets his own cabin, too. Grover told Percy that dinner starts at six, then left so Percy is alone in the Poseidon cabin. The carriage ride left him extremely tired so Percy decides to take a nap before dinner starts.

*Time Skip*

Percy was having a very good nap until he felt someone nudging his shoulder. Percy opens his eyes to see a pretty blonde girl with stormy gray eyes. Just as Percy is wondering why this amazingly attractive girl is in his cabin, she smirks and says, "You drool in your sleep."
