Since moving to LA, Aleks has been extremely behind on getting in stream time. An infinite checklist regarding what is to be done at Cow Chop was constantly in the back of Aleks' mind, all while he tried to get situated himself. But finally, after about a week of unpacking boxes at both the warehouse and his own home, Aleks had time to stream. For the past few weeks streams had become somewhat boring and something that Aleks dreaded, and this was due to the overwhelming stress of moving and the time it took away from other, more important, moving-related things. But today's stream didn't feel boring or "in the way"; it was the first stream since he's moved and Aleks was beyond excited to get back into his routine in a brand new city. He felt good and was ready to enjoy himself.

After about an hour in, Aleks took a break and put on his intermission screen. He grabbed a bottle of water and hurried back to his audience. He answered questions about what's to come at Cow Chop, what LA was like and something about CS:GO. As he rummaged through the comment section on his stream until he saw one question that stood out: "Is James your boyfriend?" Aleks smiled to himself as he read it in his head. Since he broke up with Sj, he's become more and more open to expressing his queerness.
"Is James my boyfriend?" Aleks read out loud this time, as put his hands over his face to conceal the ear to ear grin his mouth was forming. He realized there was only one proper way of answering this question.
"JAMES" Aleks yelled, waiting for a response. The door to the left of him opened and a shirtless James appeared in the door frame. Aleks turned his chair to face directly at James. He yawned and rubbed his eyes because Aleks had just woken him up. James was tempted to just turn back around and go back to bed, but something brought him to the door down the hall. It was Aleks' sweet voice.
"Yeah?" James said as he leaned up against the frame and crossed his arms. Aleks bit his lip at how hot James looked and nodded for him to walk over to him. James shook his head "no" and motioned to his shirtless body, knowing that Aleks was streaming and thousands of strangers would see him.
"Just come here," Aleks pleaded. James sank into Aleks' beautiful brown eyes and couldn't resist his request. He slowly walked forward until he was in front of Aleks, but out of the range of the camera.
"Closer..." James inched forward until the audience could see that he had gray sweatpants on that rest right at his hips and no shirt to go with it. Because he was standing up, his head was out of the frame. Once he was close enough, Aleks took both of his hands, reached behind James' head and pulled him into a deep kiss. After a passionate five seconds, Aleks pulled away and spun his chair back towards his camera as if nothing had happened. James wanted to be surprised or shocked, but he was too enthralled by Aleks' soft lips to care. He loved Aleks and he wanted everyone on this planet to know.
"We just moved in together," Aleks says looking up into James' eyes. James leaned down for another kiss, and Aleks happily obliged. Aleks melted into James' lips and felt that everything was perfect for just one moment. This time, James pulled away and turned his head towards the camera, and then back at Aleks.
"We sure did, huh?" James gave Aleks one last quick smooch before getting up and walking out the room. But, before he reached the door, he turned back to Aleks and says, "Is that all you wanted?"
"Yeah, sorry," Aleks said smirking. He wasn't sorry and he also couldn't stop smiling about it.
"Oh, I don't mind," and then James disappeared into the hallway, and back into their shared bedroom.
Aleks sits in silence for a moment as he watches his feed become a madhouse of congratulating comments, homophobic slurs and all-caps fan girls raving over the fact that novahd is real. Aleks takes a sip of his water and then looks the camera right on.
"So yeah, James is my boyfriend, and it's fucking great."
For the rest of the stream Aleks was a little bit off. He couldn't stop thinking about that fact that he and James were finally out. Though their friends and family had known for months, their audience was completely unaware until now. Aleks felt vulnerable, but he also felt relieved; he could finally be completely open with everyone, including their fans.
