It's my fifth day working as the boys' "bodyguard", and I've gotten used to my cover and making my rounds through the building. The security personnel recognized me, the important ones anyway, the secretary knew me, and everyone was overall very friendly with the new 'intern'. I'd been buzzing with excitement for the later half of the day ever since PD texted me about a pleasant surprise awaiting me sometime after lunch. He told me to wait until he sent for me, so I just continued on with my work until it was time, though my excitement was apparent.

Today I was busier than usual. As opposed to observation hours in the security room, rounds through the building, and small errands here and there to make my cover believable, today I had to draw up the results of all of that. I spent most of my time in a temporary 'office' with my laptop, though it was nothing fancy. They allowed me to work in one of the empty conference rooms, but I ended up just getting comfortable on the floor in the corner of the room. I was interrupted by the quiet ringing of my phone drifting through the room.

"Ryuu! Thank goodness, I'm itching to do something. Just give me literally anything to do. Is there like a purse snatcher or something?" I asked, leaving the room and walking casually down the halls as we spoke.

"No I - wait you're a horrible person, you've literally just wished a purse snatching on someone," He said, cutting off his original statement.

I shrugged, "You'd think you'd be used to it by now," I looked into the practice room and saw the boys sitting in chairs, watching something.

"You're incorrigible. Anyway, NO, I'm just calling to tell you that you can't come home this weekend," He said, his tone stern.

"WHAT?!" I exclaimed, stopping where I was and completely forgetting myself.

"You. Can. Not. Come. Home." He emphasized.

"You're being completely dumb! Why on earth not?!" I asked, not noticing the attention I was attracting.

"I won't be home, so I don't want you here by yourself," He answered, irritatingly calm.

"And I've been living in that apartment by myself for the better part of the last three years! You show up for three days and suddenly you're worried?" I scoffed.

"Just don't, alright? Stay at a friend's house," He said.

"That's not fair. Is there something going on that I should know about?" Maybe someone's plotting revenge? It'd be an interesting experience. So much better than just sitting around here.

"Minah," He said, making it clear that this was non-negotiable.

I sighed defeatedly, "...but you're the only one who's bothered to be my friend," I mumbled.

"You'll figure it out," he answered coldly, "Bye now!" He chirped, entirely cheerfully before hanging up.

I stared at my phone in disbelief and was about to curse at him but when I looked up, I saw the boys all staring at me with varying degrees of curiosity and confusion.

"O-oh, um, I'm sorry to disturb you... I-if you'd excuse me, I'll just go now," I bowed, feeling a bit hurt and confused by the situation.

I turned, not giving them a chance to respond and rushed to the conference room I was in earlier. Ryuu's such a jerk, I swear. I was fuming as I went back to my laptop and tried to get back to my work. I turned on some music too, making sure the door was closed so I wouldn't disturb anyone. After aimlessly tapping away at my laptop for another hour - I couldn't concentrate at all - my phone rang again.
