"You killed her!" A voice screeched overhead.
"I did no such thing," A much calmer voice replied.
"You're a menace," another voice hissed.
I groaned, trying to turn over, but flopping onto the ground instead. I groaned again at the impact and sat up, slowly blinking my eyes open as I rubbed my face harshly. I forced my eyes open, only to screw them shut at the sudden influx of light.
"Owww~" I whined, slumping against the couch slightly.
"You really did go hard on her," A voice said from behind me, concern evident in his words.
I gasped, turning around a bit too quickly, and squished him in a hug, "Ryuu!"
He chuckled, returning my hug, and said a quick "Hi" before I slowly peeled myself away and staggered up. I looked around at the worried boys (and the smirking jerk otherwise known as Shinomiya Natsume) and smiled lightly at them. Twirling around once, wincing only slightly as I raised my arms up above my head and then returned them back to my side, I showed them I was fine.
Feeling kinda gross, I turned to go to the bathroom to shower, only to stumble on the blanket tangled among my feet. In that one moment, all seven boys took a few steps forward, arms out to catch me.
"Guys," I laughed, righting myself, "I'm okay! Really, I am. In a line of work like mine, random tests like this are expected. It happens all the time," I assured them.
I excused myself to shower and smiled as I gathered my things, hearing the conversation start up again - much more cordial this time.
By the time I was done pampering myself, the apartment was filled with loud exclamations and excited shrieks as the guys took part in an intense game of Mario Kart. I shook my head at them, twisting my hair and pulling it up with a clip before heading into the kitchen to make myself a sandwich. Moments later, I was seated awkwardly on the couch - the boys having slipped to the soft rug to give me more room - as I ate my turkey sandwich.
My phone suddenly started blaring from across the room, startling me enough to make me choke a little before Jimin hopped up to grab it and tossed it to me. I held the device up to my ear and spoke,
"Hello?"
"Ah, Minah, I hope this isn't a bad time." I heard Hongbin's voice.
"Not at all," I waved him off, "No such thing as a bad time."
"Great. So you remember the location of the photoshoot from last time?" He asked.
"Yes, of course," I confirmed, nodding my head.
"Yes indeed," He began, his voice taking on a grave tone, "Unfortunately, that building has been burned to the ground as of this morning."
I jumped up in shock, "You mean to tell me-"
"It was deemed heavy arson. I'm calling you just to make sure you keep vigilant," He said, cutting me off.
I sat down, rubbing my face harshly with one hand as I let out a heavy sigh, "Of course. You've got my word."
Ryuu stood in front of me, badly mouthing words and asking me what was going on. Wordlessly, I gestured to my backpack which lay limp in the corner of the room. I smiled gratefully as he brought it over, tossing my phone down by my feet when Hongbin hung up without another word. Ryuu settled in beside me as I pulled out my laptop and I let myself lean against him, wrapping his arms around me myself.
"It's gone, Ryuu," I whispered quietly, "The studio's gone..."
"Didn't you have Natsume put up cameras?" he asked.
