Unchain
By: Allexandria Marie Fernandez

Walking down a narrow path
I seek light across the distance
Finding my way out
Asking questions about my existence
A rose i found on a red brick wall
As red as blood that tortured my soul
For it made my heart bleed to death
And made me breathe my last breath

Dying did not stop me from asking
It made me stronger and went on searching
The light I seek was yet again found
For I searched not by my clear eyes but by my bleeding heart
And I am freed from my hallucination
Unchained myself from depression
