part two of the previous iggy x reader!! aka the date chapter so ye,,, i wrote the first part during science class??? wowe i should pay attention to teachers but nah anyway hope you enjoy!!

Today, is the day. The day you've been waiting for. You and Arthur are going out on a date. Arthur had asked you for a date last Monday, after babysitting his little brothers. 'They were sooo adorableeeeee~' You thought. You had developed a mini crush on him— well maybe a big one but still— You have never expected to fall for the briton.

Hearing the sound of the bell, you suddenly got nervous. What would he think of you? You were wearing your (f/c) knee-length dress and (f/c) heels. Your hair was put up to a (hairstyle of choice) and you had some natural make-up on. You wouldn't want your face to be caked with make up would you?

You took your time walking to your front door, calming yourself down in the process. The moment you opened the door, you were speechless. The guy standing in front of you was dashingly gorgeous— as usual. It was as if he had sparkles all around him. (Shine bright like an Iggy~!) Arthur stands there, in front of you, with a slight blush on his face that was unnoticable. He held out a bouquet of roses to you and you blushed a little, accepting the flowers despite the fact that he literally shoved it to you (because he was nervous as heck). You told him that you wanted to put the roses in a vase first so you told him to wait for you for awhile.

After you left, Arthur sighed in relief, blushing. You were beautiful today in his eyes. Very beautiful. He was suddenly feeling nervous. What would he do if nothing goes right during the date? What if Francis came and destroys all the plans Arthur has made? Sighing, he waited for you to come back.

The both of you are now in a restaurant called (restaurant name). It's your first time here so you scanned the menu for something tasty. After awhile, the waiter came to your table and asked for your orders.

"What will you be ordering, (Name)?" Arthur asks.

"Um.. I think I'll get (Food/Dish Name) and (Drink)."

Arthur nodded and he looked over to the waiter, repeating your order and telling the waiter his order too.

After the waiter had left, an awkward silence had engulfed the both of you. You stared at the male, staring at his eyebrows and giggled slightly which caused Arthur to get confused.

"Sorry, it's nothing. Hehe~" You told him.

The both of you started talking about your interests and you found out that Arthur loves watching Doctor Who, just like you. The both of you laughed, talked and even shared some little secrets among each other. Almost all of the secrets except for one.

The both of you are now walking in the park, watching the beautiful sunset. Mother Nature is really beautiful. Looking at sun setting and the colours of the sky changing. As you were watching the sunset, Arthur stared at you. He really couldn't handle this feeling he has for you anymore. He didn't know exactly what he needs to do. What should he do about this feeling he has just for you? Should he confess? Would this be the perfect time to confess? But. What if you don't like him back? How would he handle this heart break? All this thinking made Arthur sigh in frustration, which caught your attention.

"What's wrong?" you asked.

"...Nothing's wrong. Don't mind me, love." he replied. You doubted his reply. You knew something was off with him.

"Arthur. I know something's wrong. You can always tell me. I'll always be here to listen." you plead.

He turned to look at your pleading eyes, staring into them after sighing in defeat.

"Well... You see, (Name)..." he paused. "I... I just... I can't.."

"You can't what?"

"I... I'm scared of rejection..." he mumbled to himself, but you heard it.

"Rejection? From who?"

"You..."

"...Huh? What do you mean? Arthur, I can't understand you if you keep mumbling and not looking at me." You grabbed his face, making him look up at you. "Tell me."

"I ... I think I'm in love with you (Name). I was scared you wouldn't feel the same way. I was afraid of rejection. What would I do if you rejected me... What would I do with the heartbreak... What--" You broke off his rambling with a kiss.

Sure, Arthur was shocked at first but after some time, he melted into the kiss. The both of you pulled back for air, blushing madly.

"W-why did you do that [name]?"

"Why would I do that? Hm... Maybe it was because I felt like it?" you teased. You could see he was hurt through his eyes, So you continued, "I kissed you because I love you too, you silly briton."

Arthur looked at you and smiled, feeling happy and glad that you didn't reject him and you actually really did loved him. He leaned in for another kiss, holding you by the waist and whispering, "I love you."
