Chapter 14: I didn't expect that

We appeared just outside the bar where I met Nicholas. "Lets get a drink first" I suggest.
"Yeah why not" Sam says walking inside followed by Dean. I was about to follow them before Castiel grabbed my arm.
"What is it Cas?" I ask him.
"Why did you have to come?"
"Because I can help you guys"
"You're bringing yourself in danger"
"I can take care of myself"
"That is not what I meant I know you can take care of yourself"
"Then what do you mean?" I ask taking his hand in mine.
"I'm afraid he will use you to get to me." he says squeezing my hand.
"That won't happen" I say placing my other hand on his cheek carefully stroking it.
He closed his eyes at my touch. "Mae, don't" he says taking my hand of his cheek.
"Why not Castiel?"
"Because I bring you in danger."
"I laugh danger in the face" I say. He looked at me confused. "it's a quote from the Disney movie the Lion King." I explain to him. He nodded at me showing that he understands it. "Why would you bring me in danger?"
"I care about you so they can take that as a advantage." Suddenly I felt a knife against my back what made my breath stop.
"Cas" I whimper.
"Mae what is wrong?" Cas asks me.
"Nothing yet" A deep voice says behind me.

"Packo" Cas says threw gritted teeth "Let her go"
"Why would I do that? You killed my brother" he says,
"Well I helped" I reply what made him push the blade more in my back. I hissed at the action.
"Mae you're not helping right now" Cas says. I rolled my eyes at his comment.
Packo moved the knife from my back to my throat in one swift move. I felt the knife against my throat. I saw Cas his eyes looking at me worried.
"Let her go Packo" Cas tell him while his gaze rested on mine.
Packo clicked his tong "I see how this is, you have feelings for this human I didn't think angels could feel human emotions"
"Maybe but they sure as hell feel pain" I tell him before elbowing him. He stumbled back and let the knife fall so I turned around and kicked him at his chest. He immediately grabbed my foot and threw me on the ground. I groaned and tried to get up. I looked besides me to see Cas was fighting Packo. I ran towards them before I jumped on Packo his back. "Cas now" I say. Cas raised his blade ready to stab Packo with it, but then Packo threw me over his shoulder so that I was in front of him. I felt the blade pierce through me. Cas's eyes widened while  realizing before he pulled the blade back. I felt blood dripping out of my mouth before I felt myself falling to the ground.
"Noooooooooo" Cas yelled. I saw Sam and Dean running out of the bar at the sound of Cas his screams "Call 911" I saw Dean mouth at Sam. I looked besides me just in time to see Packo disappear with a evil grin on his face. I felt myself gasping for air. Cas let himself fall next to me bringing my head in his lap and his fingers on my forehead trying to heal me but it didn't work.
"I'm so sorry Mae" Cas says sobbing.
I bring my hands to his face "Cas I Love you" I say before darkness consumed me.
