KG vs. Dark || Wattys 2018

The Story

   I left the Temple, and set off for my house. When I got home, I immediately changed into my "mortal" clothes, and made my wings visible. I put on my utility belt, loaded my guns, and packed my pockets with ammo. I had special Demon Hunting bullets, that could kill or at least critically harm demons. I looked in the mirror and checked to see if I had everything.

   "I'm coming for you Dark." I said

   I walked out to the street and flew into the air, and spun around quickly, teleporting myself to Earth. When I got to my Earth home, I grabbed the keys to my truck and drove to the Hospital so I could get a solid story of what happened to Janice. Flight would've been faster, but it would've freaked people out. To avoid all the conflict, I just concluded that my truck would be a better form of transportation. When I got there, I asked the receptionist where Janice was and bolted to her room when she gave me the room number. When I walked in Wendy M, Wendy O, Carter, Gisselle, Anika, and Jasmen were all sitting in the room.

   "Wha- What happened to her?" Was all I could say when I saw her condition

   "I-It was Dark." Wendy M said, her eyes and face red from crying

   "Janice, oh Janice I'm so sorry I didn't get here sooner." I said kneeling at her bedside

   "She can't talk." Carter said

   "Oh, okay." I told him " ' Jan-Jan, if you hear me, talk back. I must talk to you, you have to tell me what happened. What he did. ' " I said to her through telepathy

   " 'Oh my gosh, Kate, I can hear you.' " She said to me, I smiled

   " 'Of course you can, I'm an Angel, remember?' " I said in a matter of fact tone " 'So, you gonna tell me what he did?' "

   " 'Oh...Dark.' "She scoffed

   " 'Yes,...Dark, the one who put you in this predicament. Janice, you have to tell me what he did.' "

   " 'Well, you know Dark; always wanting someone to be in pain and termoil. It happened yesterday evening, Me and The Squad were hanging out in the backyard of the house, having fun like always. But Carter, him and Dark started to bicker, and I sensed Dark starting to become violent. I didn't want them to fight, because I didn't want Carter to get hurt. I thought he'd listen to me, but instead, he took his anger out on me. All I remember was everyone screaming and trying to stop him...and then everything went...Dark.' "

   " 'Holy!' " I quickly snapped

   "God forgive me," I said out loud "Carter, what the hell did you do?!" I growled, stomping over to him

   "Nothing!" He quickly snapped

   "You're lying! She just told me!" I paused and calmed myself down "What happened?" I finally asked him

   He sighed "Dark came in, and you know how I don't like him, so I started to mess with him-"

   "-I don't like him either! So that's not an excuse!"

   "He posted up!"

   "-You should have let him be! Now Janice is hurt!" I screamed grabbing his shirt in a fist. I saw the fear in his eyes, my wings were out now, signaling my anger and power. I let go of his shirt and he took in a breath. I turned away from him and took a deep breath, 'Don't, do this.' I told myself. I was weak to my friends and family, I loved them too much, I could never hurt them, only protect them, even before I died and became one of God's Angel Soldier's.

   I sighed "Carter, you're my Best Friend, you always have been. But when it comes to someone like Dark, leave him alone or it'll cause problems." I out my wings away, and motion to Janice

   "I know Katie, I'm sorry." He told me, holding out his arms

   "It's okay." I said embracing him in a hug 'It's okay.' I repeat to myself

   We pulled away, and I gave everyone a confident look. I had my story straight. I had my wit's sharp. I had my weapons locked and loaded. I was ready."Well, I guess I'll catch up with you guys later, and come to check on her, later."

   Everyone told me their good-byes and before I left I looked to Janice " 'I'm going to kill him. He won't be saved again.' " I told her through telepathy

I'm so happy that I finally have time to write again. Today was our last day of school and I've been writing all morning, there's a lot of other stuff that's been happening, but I won't rant about that rn cause it's almost over.🤗🤗🤗🤗 (Thank God) But expect more updates, and be on the look out for new stories from me.
