There was a storyline back where HHH married an unconscious Stephanie in Las Vegas, the fact is that the two of them were really seeing one another in real life.
In reality and not Kayfabe, the couple got married in 2003. HHH fans believe he only did it to gain control.
If so, he has successfully done so.. running NXT, and some of WWE.
