Chapter 2: new pet

Kuro's POV

"Well I'm officially the craziest and stupidest person alive" I said to myself as I bandaged up the wounded leopard which was still asleep, "Well its a good thing I live alone, I think, I guess I can leave you here for a while since I need to buy some stuff" I said quietly as I changed back to my usual clothes and took the grocery stroller with me and locking up the house, "Why the fuck is there even a leopard in the city?!" I thought as it finally crossed my mind and mentally slapping my self

*After 2 hours*

"I'm home" i said and regretted saying it as I remembered that there was a leopard which is now awake sitting in front of me, I was a little nervous of what will happen as it stood up "What am I getting myself into?!" I thought as I mentally prepared myself for what will happen

*30 mins later*

Well surprisingly the leopard wasn't dangerous at all instead it was a little helpful than I thought, it was well trained which was amazing! He (turns out it was a male) helped me to cook our food it would fetch me the needed ingredients I would ask for, he obliged when I told him I'm gonna give him a bath and didn't even became a problem, I mean how cool is that?! Its past owner must have really trained him well.

Well I'm currently laying down on the sofa watching TV, when suddenly the leopard got on the couch and laid down beside my chest, I smiled and hesitantly stroke its fur as gentle as possible, too nervous for the leopards reaction, then it began purring making me smile to my self I got up a little to grab the bag from the side table

"Hey" I said as I called out the leopard's attention, assuming that it understands me, the cat looked up to me with a blank expression "Well I was wondering if you want to stay here, oh and here a little gift I thought I would give you if you would accept staying here" I said as I hold out a collar with a metal plate on the middle, carefully I reached around its neck to make sure it was ok when I locked the collar around its neck I waited for any horrible action of the leopard instead to my surprise it simply went back to its resting position like it was nothing and made me smile a little, I went back to my position as well and slowly drifted to sleep smelling it's fur fragrance "Good night Mahiru" I yawned giving its new name as I felt my self getting sleepy again

As the lazy teen drifted in to sleep little did he know that he was getting himself into trouble, not knowing nothing seems like what it seems
