"Mommy.. why you had to pull me down the hall?" Her sweet little angelic voice is full of sadness.

" I wanted to meet um.. what's his name? Ayo and Teo." She continues on. My eyes go even more wide as I'm driving down the highway.

" You said Teo baby? R-right?" The driving comes to a slow steady pace. Damn traffic.

" Yes mommy. He sang this song and I likes it." Milan giggles.

I look up in the rear view mirror and smile at her. I'm so glad she's to young to know anything that happened.

3 years. It's been a while. As the traffic picks up the pace once more, I decide to turn the radio on.

I just want a Rollie, Rollie, Rollie with a dab of r-

I immediately turn it back off. Oh no. No no no. God why do you do this to me. We aren't meant for each-other give it a rest.

" No mommy! That's the song! Turn it back on." Her oh so famous whining starts to be displayed. I shake my head no. I can't even bear to listen to them.

Milan lets out an ear piercing scream and then cry. I breathe in deeply and close my eyes while tapping the wheel. Her screaming becomes louder and louder by the second along with her kicking her feet. Kill me now.

" MILAN DAMN IT! STOP IT RIGHT NOW MOMMY IS FUCKING DRIVING. I'LL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO CRY FOR!"

Her crying slows down and she looks at me with those sad eyes. Those eyes that could get her anything she wants.

I sigh and give in, " Okay Milan. I'll download it in your kindle when we get home."

" No April I swear I saw her. I'm not imagining things."

She nods her head slowly and pops some almonds into her mouth. I groan and roll my eyes. Her famous sign of saying she doesn't take me seriously.

" You took your pills today right?" She asks. I snap my neck towards her direction and narrow my eyes at her.

" You know I don't have to take those anymore. Why would you even go there?"

She nods her head slowly once more, "I think you should start them again."

" And I think that I fucking saw her. I'm not hallucinating. It wasn't Serene because Serene was at work."

" So where is Nadia?"

" Who else would she be with." I roll my eyes and lay back on the couch.

There's a silence for a few minutes. April finally puts the almonds down and comes towards me. She sits down next to me by couch on her knees.

" Mateo you need to take them again. You even saw her get buried. I don't want you to have an outburst like last time." Her fingers run gently through my hair.

I breathe out heavily and nod my head okay. " I'll take them before I go to bed."

Her fingers stop combing through my hair and she gets back up, " Good. I'm going to leave though okay? Tell daddy Ayleo to come over to my place."
