If I never met you.
If I never met you,
How would I learn about feelings?
How would I learn about real friendships?
How would I ever know,
That some of the best friendships
Are not physically being with them,
Or hearing their own words from their lips?
Someday I would like to meet you,
And talk to you face to face.
Some people wouldn't understand,
They think it's nothing, it won't last.
Or it's just going to end up
A friendship of the past.
Even if, I would remember.
These were people who were there for me,
When physical friends weren't.
Whether it was to talk about
something sad, angry, or happy,
you were always there.
It's, then, when I realize that,
You are the ones who really care.
