§∞Chanyeol's POV∞§

Flashback
On Friday morning, before I went home to check on So Jin, I went to see her dad, Mr. Im. I asked Do Jung to take me to the Hαηα & main building. When I got there I had to wait 20 minutes, since he had a meeting. Finally after his meeting, I got sent to his office.

We sat across each other on the two couches in his office. On a closer look he looks more haggard than usual. Of course he would be, I mean his daughter is frickin' missing.

"So Chanyeol-ssi, I assume that you have come to my office to tell me about So Jin. I believe she is in your condo right now?" He says folding his hands together, his eyes seeing right through me. I give him a confused look. How did he find out? Did he really know where So Jin was and is just respecting her wishes? Or does he really not care? I cleared my throat.

"U-um. Yes, sir, I found So Jin and she is currently in my house, sick in bed with a very high fever. May I ask how you know she's staying at my house." I ask him quite hesitantly. I mean it's because of how he looks right now that I feel intimidated. If you don't know how his attitude really is like, he would've scared you and make you feel like a small Peck of dust in his expensive and his own handmade suits. His sharp eyes looking straight through you, his sometimes thin line of a mouth whenever he is stressed or mad, and his hooked nose that is both attractive and provoking at the same time.

"Mari barged into my office just this morning scolding me about my bad parenting skills. She even kicked me, for a woman her age she is still surprisingly strong." He says seriously and calmly like he's so used to it. Well, I mean of course he would be used to my mom's nagging since they're childhood buddies. Though he did try to make a joke with his last statement, making me laugh nervously. She wasn't kidding when she told me she would kick Jiwoo-ssi's ass this morning.

"That's mom for you, always nagging at and hitting you." I nervously let out a shaky laugh.

He nods, "I don't want to get her yet, since I'm the reason she ran away the first place, so I leave her to your care." He says with a serious face. I was dumbfounded. "I won't ask you to convince her to return, since she probably won't listen to anyone. But at least ask her to stay with you for a few days. Can I ask that of you?"

I can't find the right words, but I just feel all the blood rush to my head. My mouth moving faster than my brain. "Sir! She's your daughter! You can't expect her to come back without proper communication. I'm pretty sure there is some misunderstanding here, and you sitting on the sidelines waiting for her to make a move isn't going to help. She's not the one at fault, and I believe that the one who is at fault should be the first to approach the other. " I breath deeply at the end, a few seconds to make me calm down after that small rage fit.

I expected him to look outraged, ashamed, insulted or offended. But what I saw are the complete opposite feelings in his face, he looked very sad, guilty, but he was still ashamed. "I know that it's my fault and I will reach out to her. Just not right now, she is still pretty mad at me and I don't want to add oil to the fire by showing up in your apartment trying to make amends. That child does not listen to anyone, she would ignore your apology. She wouldn't listen to me even of I try to explain everything. So I'll give her some time till she's ready." Jiwoo-ssi said in a depressed tone. His haggard face looking older. It looked like he genuinely did think about what to do about his daughter.
