I walk to Ji Young-ssi's cafe and see Jin Ae walk right past me. I was instantly shocked, unconsciously I grabbed her arm. "Um, hey why did you ignore me?" I ask.
"Let go stalker." I guess the cap, sunglasses, and mask is a bit conspicuous. Now that I look at her closely, she is so different from Jin Ae; her hair is blue, which is really far off from Jin Ae's beautiful auburn hair. I'm shocked, since it is So Jin that I grabbed, I open my mouth to apologize when she-
"Dude I said let go!" Before I can process anything the next thing I know is that I was on my back with an aching butt and back. So Jin flipped me in less than 3 seconds. Everyone surrounding us started murmuring 'Ew stalker,' and 'He deserves it,' etc. I quickly got up and walked to the cafe to avoid a commotion. But a small hatred for So Jin builds up in my stomach.
"Welcom- oh hey baozi." Greeted Baekbeom-hyung. He knew instantly that it was an EXO member because of the get up.
"Hey hyung, I just saw So Jin across the street, she actually thought I was a stalker," I complain as I sit down on the counter.
"Well what did you do?" He asks getting different person's order.
"I grabbed her arm thinking that she was Jin Ae. And she just flipped me out of nowhere, leaving me with a hurt back." I say aghast. "I mean she is a girl right?"
"Of course! I mean a stranger with a mask, sunglasses, and a cap. Anyone would think that you're a stalker. Also what is with that sexist remark huh?" He says quite exasperated if I say so. I shrugas an answer.
"By the way, where is Jin Ae?" I ask looking around the shop, she has a shift today so I decided to see her.
"Oh, her shift just ended, I think she went to the library."
I checked my watch, he's right, her shift just ended. I guess I was too late. "Oh, OK. See ya then hyung." I stand up and when I'm at the door I hear him say, "Gosh lover boy is so mean," I just chuckle and go out. When I see the library, memories come flooding back, this was where I took Jin Ae to comfort her.
Flashback
*Sob*sob* I heard sobbing noises coming from a nearby tree as I was just finning my daily jog. I went to see who was crying and saw Jin Ae, Baek's mom's boyfriend's daughter.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her and she flinched when I patted her arm.
"I'm sorry its just that..." She started explaining and I lent her my shoulder, "My sister, she haven't called or emailed me since she found out dad's dating someone."
She cried for a few more seconds and I just continued comforting her. Just when I thought she was finished she started talking again.
"Ever since she went to the states I have always been a bit lonely and would always be the target for bullying, but even when she was somewhere far away she still supported me and helped me with everything. But now I'm afraid that she'll hate me and never talk to me ever again, and that's even worse that those cruel bullying."
We stayed in that position for a while. When I think that she's done crying I finally spoke up. "Hey do you wanna go somewhere cool?" I ask her with a slight bit of hope that she smiles. And she did.
