It's been a month now when my mom left.She said she was coming back for me but she didn't. the beatings have been getting worse and my birthday is in two days.

I went downstairs to get the mail and one had my on it and it was letter from my mom.So I opened it and it read

  Dear Janelle,

I'm so sorry I didn't believe you should've did but I can't take back k the past but what I want you to do for me and get out of there soon as possible. Your dad is a very dangerous man. So here's 10,000 and two plane tickets to Miami take your friend Kia if she like but only go when your out of high-school or 18 . Don't worry about I'll be alright. Btw rip this paper up and throw it away. Love you baby.

When I got done reading it I ripped it up into tiny pieces and threw if away. I put the money in a safe spot. When I got through with all that I just at thought what the hell I'm gone do.

::Next Morning::

When I woke up I was glad my daddy wasnt home. I did my morning hygiene and put some sweat pants,plain white v neck, and tims. I had my hair in a ponytail. I smiled at myself in the mirror. I grabbed my stuff grabbed a pop tart and headed to the bus stop. Surprisingly Kia was there before me.

"I gotta get you hip on some stuff " I said

"OK wassup" I told her about letter and everything

"Damn and girl you already know I'm down to go to Miami with you but we should wait until we graduate and then we can go

"OK cool " I said nodded and looking at the boys on the corner

"guess who birthday today...Happy Birthday Bitch  " she said like it was here birthday

"yay  " I sad dry

"girl we gone turn up when we go out night we gone be turnt"

"who said I'm going to the club"

"me now shut ya ass up the bus here"

School went by fast and after we got from school we went to the mall so I can get a b day outfit I'm glad  but I didn't wanna go to the club. When we got through we went back to Kia house. 

"Girl i got the perfect dress for you and i know what to do with your hair and make up" with that she oulled out this really short black tight fitted dress and some black Louboutins

"uhh im not wearing that shit its to short " i said looking at at the outfit.

"yes tf you are now go take a shower so we can get started" I did what she said and hop in the shower some of my bruises wasnt noticeable but the one on my back is still there. After I got out the shower I came out the bathroom and there go Kia with a make up kit. "im not wearing no fucking make up" 

"pleaaaaaaaaaaase" she begged. i gave in and let her do my make up. When she got dont and i looked at myself ...I looked different ....I looked beautiful. I smiled at myself.

"okay ima flat iron your hair and all you have to do is put on your dress and stuff. when she she flat iron my hair my hair stop mid-back I didnt even know that because it was always in a curly state. When Kia went to get ready I got ready i put on the dress slowly and zipped myself up.  i put the heels on and i looked at myself in the mirrow. I saw the curves i didnt know i had because i wore baggy clothes, the fat ass i didnt know i had,and the beauty . Damn Im Flawless . When Kia walked out her jaw hit the ground. "damnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" in her smokey and craig voice. I just laughed at her but she looks good to we almost had the same thing on but her dress was white with the back out and she had nude shoes. I heard a horn outside and I saw Kia ghetto ass cousins......Its going to be a long night.......
