Chapter 9

The next one will be shorter than the other chapters

~Natsu's P.O.V~

"Hey, Wendy!" I heard Romeo yell. I turned my head and saw Romeo talking to Wendy with a blush. "200 jewel says that Romeo's asking Wendy out!" I whispered to Gray. I'm trying to be a good friend here, even though we made out. "W-what? O-oh, okay." Yeeeeaaah he's not that up for it. "Yes! I'd love to!" We turned our heads and saw Wendy hugging Romeo and him blushing. "Pay up, Ice freak." Gray flopped a bag, of what I hope is 200 jewel, in my hand. Later, at midnight, everyone left the bar and went back to the hotel. Oh, crap. Last time this happened I ended up making out with my crush. I foolishly kissed back and slipped my tongue in. I had my hands in my pockets when I saw Gray talking to a girl. "So, Gray, what do you think?" the girl asked him. "I think, obviously yes!" Gray beamed at the girl and they hugged. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. I tried to hold them back but I couldn't. My tears fell silently. My bangs covered my face as I walked down the streets, crying. "It meant nothing. That kiss meant nothing to him, it was just to get revenge. I'm just another broken heart!" I yelled and started running. I think someone heard me because when I stopped walking I heard a twig snap. "Who's there?" I turned around, my tear stains visible. 

"Why are you crying, Ash tray." I knew that voice way too well, Gray Fullbuster. "W-why do y-you care." I wiped my tears and tried to get the tear stains away as well. "Because I can." Gray said annoyed. "Yeah, right." I chuckled. "I do care!" Gray said. "No, no you don't!" I yelled. "Yes, I do!" he yelled louder. "PROVE IT!" I yelled with tears in the corners of my eyes. Gray's eyes also teared up. "That what I thought." Before I could turn around I was pinned to the ground. I looked up and saw Gray staring down at me. "I do care." Gray said before resting his lips on mine. I wanted to gasp but I couldn't help kiss back. I pushed Gray up so he was sitting down and he was sorta holding me. We continued to kiss, refusing to break apart. Gray slipped his tongue into my mouth and I gave him dominance because I wasn't being the pitcher here, I'm the catcher.

When we finally broke apart all we could do was stare into each others eyes. "I care, too." I said and Gray smiled. "I've cared for so long." Gray said and kissed me one more time. "W-we should get to the hotel." I stammered. Gary laughed at me but helped me up. We walked hand in hand and then I saw the girl. "Go Gray! Took my advice I see." She punched Gray's arm playfully. I just was plain out confused. "Natsu, this is my new friend, Detail. She has  husband and two kids." I mentally sighed in relief. "Nice to meet you, I'm-" She cut me off. "Oh I know who you are~ Gray's told me a lot about you two. A lot." Gray blushed a deep red and Detail laughed. "Well I'll see ya two love birds later." She waved goodbye and we walked away. When we got back to the hotel everyone was fighting. We both sighed and everyone stopped and looked at us. It was so silent until there were four fangirl screams. "GRATSU!" It was Mira, Erza, Lucy, and Juvia. "FINALLY! I'VE SPENT THREE MONTHS WITH THESE CRAZY FANGIRLS!" Jellal yelled and flipped a table. We all looked ta him. "They're insane!" he pointed at the four.

"F##k you, you could've escaped." Mira said. "So~ You two dating now?" Cana asked drunkenly. I blushed but nodded y head yes. "Alright! Time to celebrate the making of Gratsu!" Cana yelled and everyone cheered. Gray and I bushed but walked to an empty table. We held hands under the table and even ended up play footsie. Then Lucy and Juvia walked up to us. "If you two want, we'll be fine switching rooms." Lucy smiled and Juvia nodded. Gray and I looked at each other then the girls. "Thanks." We smiled and they giggled. We gave them questioning looks but they walked away. When the night ended Juvia and I switched rooms and took our stuff to our new rooms. When the night ended I learned that Gray's room is hot AF. I'm a fire dragon slayer and I'm saying this. "Hot, right?" Gray laughed at me. I turned around and saw him in nothing but boxers. I blushed and sweat a little bit more. "Come on. It's sweat to death or strip." I ended up with strip because I just started a relationship and don't want to die.

I crawled into the same bed as Gray and he wrapped his arms around my torso. "I love you." I mumbled. "I love you too." Gray pecked my nose and pulled me closer. (So baby pull me closer in backseat of your Rover. That I know you can't afford. Bite that tattoo on your shoulder. Pull the sheets right off the corner. Of the mattress that you stole. From your roommate back in Boulder. We ain't ever getting older. I truly am sorry, I just love that song) Then we fell asleep in each others embrace. "Gray Fullbuster is finally mine."
