Chapter 13

~Natsu's P.O.V~

As if in slow motion, I watched the love of my life get stabbed right in the chest. My eyes widened. "GRAY!" Lucy, Erza, Wendy, Juvia, and me all yelled. The copy of Detail disappeared and Gray fell on his knees. I ran over and held Gray. "Gray! Gray! Come on speak to me." I felt my tears well up. "Natsu?" He looked at me with a weak smile. I could hear his heartbeat fading. "Hey, no, no, no! Y-y-you can't die on us, on me." I cried. "Don't cry." Gray touched my cheek but it fell do to lake of strength. "Please, we just got together. We still have to go on a date, do cheesy couple stuff, and make Mira fangirl whenever she sees us." My tears rolled down my cheeks and landed on Gray's stab wound. "Sorry, I can't feel anything that well." Gray laughed. "There ya go, laugh. You're gonna laugh more. You won't die, GOD DAMNIT!" I yelled. "I'm sorry, I...can't keep that...promise. Y'know the one I made when we were kids." I gritted my teeth. "N-no! I-if you say t-that, then I'll have to believe you." I rested my head on his forehead. "I'll miss you, Natsu." Gray grabbed my face and kissed me one more time.

I kissed back but in a short second Gray's lips went cold. I opened my eyes and saw him falling onto the ground. "I love you, Natsu." Then I couldn't hear his heartbeat anymore. "Gray...NO!" I screamed t the air. All I could hear were cries around me. I felt anger surge through my body, power merged with my blood, and I felt fire surround me. "You...you!" I yelled at War. "What? Just ding what he asked." War smirked. My eyes landed on the sword Gray left. I picked it up and looked at it. 'Gray, Gray, Gray.' Pictures of Gray and I fighting, getting along, doing missions together flashed in my head. I started eating the sword. "Natsu!" Erza yelled. "Don't you remember what happens when you eat anything other than fire?!" Erza screamed but I ignored her. I continued to eat the sword. "You killed the one I love." I looked up at War. "Die." My hair then started turning neon blue, my clothes turned blue, my scarf, and the white in my eyes became black and my pupils turned neon blue.

I felt warmth but cold, my usual fiery breath was now chilled, and I felt ice mix with the fire in my body. "He ate the ice to make himself an fire ice dragon slayer, and he activated the dragon force." Lilith said. "War...DIE BASTARD!" I yelled and ran at top speed at him. "Fire ice dragon slayer wing attack."

"Iron fist!"

"Sword horn!"

"Crushing fang!"

"Roar!" I didn't stop attacking, my anger was fueling my power. "Lightning ice flame dragon mode." I hissed and lighting combined with the ice and fire. "Three elements at the same time!" Rogue yelled. "That could easily kill someone." Laxus said. "Dragon slayer secret art: Lighting flame blizzard!" There was a hue explosion of blue, yellow, and orange. When the smoke cleared a bloody War lay on the ground. "He...lost?" Luna shivered. "Die." War said. then all of the others died. The magic left my body and I was back to my original state. "Gray, I did it." Then darkness consumed me.

I opened my eyes and saw white. 'Oh, I'm dead. Great!' I stood up and looked around. I was standing in the guild but it seemed no one could see me. I looked around until I spotted Gray and me. We were sitting at a table holding hands and talking to Lucy and Erza. "Moving in seems to be a big step, don't you think?" Lucy smiled at me. "We've been together for a year by now, so why not?" I said to her. Gray and I moved in with each other? Then the area changed and I was standing in a park. "What?" I asked. "Daddy!" I turned around and saw a little boy that resembled me running my way with tears in his eyes. "Hey, what's wrong lit-" He ran right through me and towards two figures. I followed the boy and when I got closer I saw it was me and Gray. There was a girl with them, she looked so much like Gray. "Nash? What happened?" Gray asked the boy named Nash. "Those kids stole my scarf!" Nash cred harder. That's when i noticed I wasn't wearing my scarf. Did I give it to that kid?

"I'll get it back, son." I said. Wait that kids my son. "Daddy's gonna beat up bullies again!" The girl giggled. "Yes, yes he is." Gray smiled. I realized that I was wearing a wedding ring and so was Gray. We got married? "What is this?" I asked. "What could've been if I wasn't an idiot." My eyes widened. I flashed around and saw Gray standing in front of me with his arms crossed. "Gray!" I smiled and ran over to him. I grasped him in a hug and he hugged back. "So you died?" he asked me. "Seems like that." I smiled and Gray frowned. "You died first." I said with a frown. "Fair." He smiled and cupped my face. I smiled thoughtfully at him and returned the favor. We kissed and for a second I believed we were still alive. "They're gonna miss us, you know." Gray said after breaking our kiss.

"I know, but nothing we can do." I sighed and he smiled. "So, together forever?" Gray held his hand out for me. "Forever." I said and took his hand. We walked into the light together, never letting go. "I love you." I said with a tear. "I love you too." Gray kissed me again and I kissed back.

"I'm never letting you go."
