Remember me -
for when the evening sun goes down,
and I'll remember you -
and all the good time that we had
in this old town.
I'll remember you -
whether it was the good love we had,
or the love that just gone bad.Remember me -
for when the evening sun goes down,
and I'll remember you -
and all the places
that's I've been around.
I'll remember you -
for when I go to our favorite spot.
I'll remember your beautiful face,
in my old hometown. But promise me, -
for when our friend ship sinks
that you'll remember me -
standing in my favorite floral dress,
my curly hair in a mess, -
sitting on a blanket in the grass,
with your arms wrapped around my chest.
You and I -
watching the sun set.Remember me -
for when the evening sun goes down.
