My heart has to suffer
Before it is to feel joy
My heart has lose it's lover
Before it gets to find another.
My mind has to break
Before it is to be repaired
And sometimes life has to take
What for me, wasn't prepared
Goodbye wasn't the hard part
It was hearing it from you
How you changed your mind about me
And changed your heart too
Do I have to stay or move on?
Is the question that haunts me
And it could also be the question
That will destroy the love in me.
It's you I must forego,
And your love I must forget
You know and I know,
It's doing so we'll both regret.
Hopeless hope and young love
Never did get along enough
As my heart cries tear after tear
Know that you'll always be here.
