I felt sick the next morning.

I fell asleep half way through the movie, Ryder woke me before he left.

The day was nearly over. Just chemistry and art left. I can push through.

I plopped down on my seat in Chem. I saw Evan walk in and sit in the seat across the table from mine.

Evan.

Oh! Ryder's friend.

"Hey, Izzy right?" He said.

I was a little shocked he spoke to me.

"Uh yeah?"

He smiled,"I'm Ryder's friend, Evan."

I gave him a small smile.

"Yeah I know you."

He raised an eyebrow and nodded,"Cool, cool. Ryder isn't here today. He had some... business to handle."

I nodded. Not really caring at the moment. I'm exhausted I just want to go home. My bed misses me.

I looked at Evan, he was on his phone looking a little bored.

He had blond hair that was a bit longer on the top. His eyes were a deep chocolate brown. He had a light sprinkle of freckles across his cheeks and nose.

He was attractive. Not as attractive as Ryder.

I blinked and looked away from him realizing I was staring.

Chemistry droned on. We took notes on god knows what.  I don't understand any of it. Why am I taking this class?

Oh right I need the credits.

I let out an annoyed breath and put my forehead on my book.

"You okay? You don't look so good." Evan's concerned voice broke through the silence of the class.

I lifted my head and pushed up my glasses, looking at him through tired eyes.

"Yeah I'm great just exhausted." I replied.

He nodded and gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Do you have a ride home?" He asked, casually.

I gave him a weird look.

"Why?"

His cheeks tingled a light pink color.

He's blushing?

"Ryder wanted me to ask. So he knows you get home safe. I can take you if you don't." He brought a hand up and rubbed the back of his neck.

I smiled and nodded.

"Okay sounds good. I'll tell my brother not to take off work early."

I sent a quick text to Alex.

I looked back up at Evan.

"So where should I meet you?" I asked.

He smiled," I have art with you. You know that right?"

I looked at him confused,"No I didn't."

He shrugged,"I didn't expect so. You're always so lost in your sketch book. I took the class for easy credits."
