Chapter 14

I ordered my ice cream as I sat down.

"So? What do you want to do?" Draco asked
"After eating ice cream? Hmmm let's go at Flourish and Botts"
"You really like books, don't you"

We received the ice cream that we ordered and I felt really nervous.

"I have something to tell you" I said
"What's that?"
"I'll give you a chance to prove that you really like me and maybe after that we could be official"
"Like court you?"
"Yes"
"Okay. You just made me happy."
"So here's the rules it's like dating but minus the holding hands and kissing. And don't ever show me the other side of you again. The mean side. Understood?"
"Yes."

We continued to eat the ice cream and talk about stuff. After that, we went to the Flourish and Botts. I was finding a book until I realized he's gone.

"Draco" I called out and saw him at the cashier.
"Here" he said and gave me a book
"What's this?"
"A book. The title is Beauty and the Beast"
"That's interesting. Thanks"
"Your welcome"
"So this is your ideal date?" He asked
"What do you mean?"
"Finding a book and eating ice cream."
"I don't have an 'ideal date'. And I wouldn't call this a date. I would call this a meeting."
"Well where do you want to go next?"
"I don't really know."
"Do you want to go to my house?"
"Woah. You're moving way too fast."
"I didn't mean like that. Like do you want to play at my house. You know my mother gave me one those tennis things. It's from a muggle world."
"I thought your dad hated muggles."
"It's a secret. He didn't know."
"Sure"

We went to his house and I met his mother.

"Hello Mrs. Malfoy" I said
"Call me 'Narcissa', dear. After all you'll be my son's wife." she said
"Mother" Draco said and glared at his mother.
"Okay fine" Narcissa said and left

I couldn't do anything but laugh. And Draco glared at me.

"What? It's adorable." I said
"Laugh all you want, Wright. Until I beat you in to this game."
"Oh come on. You can never beat me"
"What if I do?"
"Then good for you, I guess"

We started playing and guess what Draco did win. He is better at me in something.

"I just don't get the game." I protested
"You just hit the ball with the racket thingy."
"Can we rest?" I asked and sat down on the chair.
"Tea, Miss Wright?" I turned around to see Dobby
"Dobby?!" I said excitedly
"Yes Miss Wright"
"Thank you for the tea, Dobby" I said and Dobby left
"Wow. Never seen a girl being excited when seeing a house elf." Draco said
"Dobby is my friend" I explained
"But I'm still better at playing tennis" Draco teased
"But are you better at playing tag?" I said while standing up and removing my shoes
"I bet you're not" I said and ran.

Draco chased me. I knew I'm better than him except for that tennis thingy. Draco ran after me and he trip on something. I waited for him to get up but he's not getting up. I think he just died. Merlin. I ran to him.

"Draco, are you okay?" I asked and he keep his head down.
"Hey. You're still alive, right?" I said and poked him and he caught my arm and pulled me down, making me fell beside him.
"Tag you're it." Draco said
"That's cheating."
"Atleast I caught you."
"You're such a cheater"
"But I'm the best cheater ever, right?"
"I wouldn't be proud if I were you"

I looked at him and he looked at me.
"Thanks" I said
"For what?"
"For making this day happy"
"But isn't that the idea? To make this day happy?"

I smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek. I saw him blushed. I can't help but to laugh while he is hiding his red cheeks.

"Stop laughing." He said
"Don't hide it, Draco" I said
"What are you kids doing? Why are you laying in the grass, bare foot?" Mr.Malfoy interrupted.

I stand up and so did Draco.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Malfoy" I said politely
"What are you doing here Miss Wright?" He said coldly
"I invited her here, father" Draco said
"I'm sorry Mr. Malfoy on what I did on the Quidditch World Cup Day. I'm deeply sorry." I said
"It's fine but I don't want any blood traitor in this house." He said
"Father" Draco said
"Leave now" Mr.Malfoy said angrily
"And Draco don't hang out with that blood traitor again." he added
"Draco let's talk now" he said angrily

I looked at Draco and nodded. I saw that he's worried in his eyes. Draco followed his father inside the house and I picked my shoes. And took my things.

"I'm terribly sorry, Miss Wright. I shouldn't interfere but I'm sorry." Dobby said
"It's fine, Dobby" I said
"(Y/n), I'm sorry." Narcissa said
"It's fine. I will just go" I said
"Draco's father is just tired from his work. Please forgive him."
"I forgave him, Narcissa. Actually it's my fault. I'll just go. Thanks for having me here." I said and left.

I went to the Burrow to talked to Ginny. I want to talk about girl stuff because if I tell this to my brother, he will definitely kill Malfoy. I knocked on the door and Fred opened the door.

"Hey (y/n). Why are you dress like that?" he asked
"I'm from a party. Is Ginny there?" I said
"Yes she is. Come in" he said
"MOM. (Y/N) IS HERE" he shouted

Molly rushed towards us.

"Hello (y/n)" Molly said
"Hello Molly. Can I talk to Ginny?" I asked
"Sure, sweetie" she said

Ginny rushed downstairs and hugged me.

"I heard you're here. Come on" she said and dragged me to her room.
"Sit there" she said and I sat to her bed
"So why are you dress like that? Did your parents kick you out?" She asked
"No. My parents didn't kick me out. I went on a date with Draco." I said
She gasped "tell me what happened"
"Wait a minute" she said and opened the door to see the twins listening to our conversation.
"Stop listening to our conversation" Ginny said angrily and the twins went to their room.
"So yeah. It didn't go well." I said and told her the story.
"Lucius Malfoy always ruins the day" Ginny said
"You're right" I said
