Everything is a blur. In the morning, I was just with Draco then the next thing that I know is my father is dead and my mother and brother are nowhere to be found. I don't know what to think or feel.

"Y/n" he called out

I was now awake from my thoughts as I desperately hugged myself from the coldness of the surroundings. He must have noticed it and put his arms across my shoulder.

"I can't guarantee that everything's going to be perfectly fine but, I am here," Draco whispers.

"My father is dead," I muttered.
"I'm sorry"

The tears fell from my face, it was late but the thought of my father being gone just sink in my head.

"I know you are more than hurt. I can't imagine what it is you feel at the moment but you are not safe here," he took my hand, and the next thing I know is we were at the burrow.

The Weasley family is in the living room like they are waiting for someone to arrive. And, by the turn of unfortunate events that someone that they are waiting for is me. I was grasping tight on Draco's hand, I don't wanna lose him this time.

"Y/n" Molly hugged me

And, those when the tears started to fall again. Molly gave me a space to breathe from her tight hug.

Draco faced me "Listen, y/n. I need you to be safe and this is the only place I can think of for the moment. They can protect you here."

"Please don't leave me, Draco."
"I am here, y/n."

I hugged him and he did the same.

"Don't become a death eater" I said as my face is pressed on his chest.

"I can't promise anything. I'm sorry"

I was not letting go of him. I was afraid because I know from the moment he escapes from my arms, terrible things will happen.

"The only thing that I can promise is I will protect you," He said and loosen his arms from the hug.

"I need to go, y/n. I'll come back for you," his lips landed on my forehead.

And, the moment he walked away, the warmth was gone.

The days are cold, it's summer but the breeze of my loss still haunts me every time I wake up. My friends, Hermione, Ginny, Ron have been supportive. They took care of me when I can not.

Harry, well he has problems of his own.

I'm just waiting for the day to end. Watch the sun; rise and set, every single day.

"We have somewhere to be," Ron said
"Where to?" I asked

Probably the first words I said for the week.

"We don't know where to, but Harry is in trouble."

Trouble always finds him, it's like a twin of him. But, even though I have my issues to deal with, I have to help Harry with all might that I can. I packed my things and leave the burrow with the Weasley family and Hermione.

We were at the headquarters as they call it. The place is dark like the sun doesn't shine in here, it's like no one lives in this house except for the dust.

"Y/n" someone called me

I turned around to see Sirius approaching me.

"Sirius," I opened my arms to hug him and he did the same.

"Thank Merlin, you are alive," he patted my back.

It feels like I'm not, Sirius.

As he released me, Remus and Tonks did the same. It was comforting.

For a moment.

The adults were arguing in the dining room while we are waiting upstairs. The rest of us were talking about what will happen now and no one has any single clue of what's gonna happen next.

"Harry's not gonna be expelled," I spoke out.
"How can you guarantee, y/n?" Fred asked.
"I just know. Besides, Dumbledore is always with him."

Hermione stood up from her bed, "she is right. Dumbledore wouldn't let Harry be expelled."

As Harry entered the room, everyone jolted up yet, the first person he ran to was me. The one sitting by the window.

"I've heard and I'm so sorry," his embrace was soft and genuine.
"It happens," are the only words that I can say.

We ate the dinner that Molly prepared for us. Tonks was using her shapeshifting powers to make everyone laugh and it was effective. I did giggle a little bit.

As the adults finished the discussion about what is going to happen to Harry, the rest went upstairs while I helped Molly clean the mess.

"You know it's difficult to feel what you are feeling right now. I can't give reasons on why but, I am just here. I can be your second mom," Molly said

"You are already my second mom, Molly. From the moment you let me in your home," I gave her a polite smile.

I was busy wiping the plates while Molly is washing them when suddenly I heard someone call out my name.

"Do you hear that?" I asked her
"Hear what?"
"Like someone calling me"

She shook her head then there it is again, it's calling me but it's a whisper.

I placed the plates down and went to the dining room to see the platinum-haired boy standing at the end of the room. His hair is pushed back like it was meant to and his tailored suit fitted him right and just.

"What in Salazar are you doing in here? You can't be in here," I said to him.
"I feel the need to see you if you are fine," he said while standing and remaining in his rich boy posture.

Molly probably heard our voices and rushed to where we were.

"Oh, I thought it was someone. It's just Draco," she said while wiping her hands with her apron.

"Just Draco? Molly, he can't be in here," it's not that I don't want him here but it's dangerous.

"It's alright, y/n. The boy misses you. I'll leave you two to talk." Molly said and left the room.

I walked over to him and unexpectedly hugged him. With no unexplainable reason, he made me feel better.

"As much as I wanted to see you, you can't be in here. It's too dangerous. And, they will react harshly if they see you," I said as we departed from our embrace.

"It's the risk that I am willing to take," he said

"You really are a Slytherin," I giggled.

He touched my cheek, "Molly is right. I miss you but that's not why I am here."

Now, his face was drowning with worry. It was concerning like I'll receive another bad news.

"I cannot change fate, y/n. And, it's out of my control on how you will feel about me," he said through his cherry lips.

"What are you saying, Draco?"
"I didn't choose any of this to happen," he held my trembling hand.

"You'll become his servant, aren't you?"
"I don't know that yet"
"Draco, he killed my father. And, you are siding with him," I removed my hand from his grasp.

"I am sorry. I have no choice," his eyes are getting teary.
"You'll always have a choice, Draco"

"Alright then" he exhaled

And there was a long pause. I looked into his eyes which is full of sorrow.

"I am sorry but I chose this," he kissed me on the forehead like it's a routine of him every time he leaves me.

I was there all alone, my heart started breaking. The person that my father trusted me with is betraying me.

------
Okay. I'm back. After three years? I am so sorry for keeping you waiting. But, life shifted a little bit. Hope you can forgive me.
