Chapter 12

(Y/n's POV)
All of the students in Hogwarts have a gathering due to Cedric's death. I don't want to attend because it hurts knowing that he isn't there anymore but I need to go. I sat at the Slytherin Table
and not listening to what Dumbledore's saying. I just looked at the wall for like hours and everyone in my house is worried about me.

"Are you okay?" someone asked

I just nodded and continued to stare at the same wall.

When the gathering is over I went straight to my dorm room and locked myself for the rest of the day.

Someone entered the room and it's not Chloe for sure.

"(Y/n). We are worried about you. You just lay on your bed crying. You don't even eat. Please don't do this." Julius said
"Please get out." I said
"But---" he said unfinished
"GET OUT NOW" I shouted

He went out and I heard someone entered again.

"For goodness sake. Please stop bothering me" I said angrily while sitting up.
"Are you okay?" Draco asked
"Do I look like okay?" I said
"Come on (y/n). What's happening?"
"I don't know. I don't really know. I just--- I feel empty. I feel sad" I said
"(Y/n). You should go to the library like normal stuff that you do everyday. Hang out with the golden trio. I'm sure Cedric doesn't want you to be sad."

I just nodded and rethink on what he just said. He's right I just can't live like this. Cedric wouldn't want me to just lay in bed and cry.

"Well I'm just gonna go. I hope to see you later, the other students are leaving." He said and walked out of the room.

I get up and changed into my uniform. I ran to the Golden Trio. And they smiled when they saw me.

"(Y/n)" Hermione called

She hugged me and the rest joined.

"Are you alright?" Harry asked
"Never been better" I said while smiling
"It's good to see you" Ron said
"Well I realized that Cedric wouldn't want me to be sad. So I'm here now" I said
"It's good to have you back" Mione said

"(Y/n) Can I talk to you?" someone said

And I turned around to see Viktor Krum.

"Hello Viktor" I said
"Sorry for your loss" he said
" And thank you. And I will sure miss you" he added
"I will miss you too"

He smiled and talk to Hermione. Fleur went near me.

"(Y/n) you're one of my greatest friend in Hogwarts. I hope to see you again." she said
"I hope to see you again. I will miss you" I said while smiling.
"I will miss you too." she said and left.

"It's good to see you again." Someone said

I turned around to see Draco.

"You saw me like 30 minutes ago." I said
"It's good to see you smiling again."

I just smiled.

"Do you want to walk or something?" He asked
"Yeah sure"

We walked for seems like an hour and we were not even talking.

"I like you" I said to break the silence
"What?" He asked
"I like you. I like this side of you. Not the mean side." I said
"What do you mean? I've always been the same."
"No you're not. I noticed it, I'm kinda observant, you know. You act different when you're with your friends and you act different when you're with me."
"You're talking rubbish. I've always been the same."
"Oh come on. Admit it, don't deny" I tease
"Fine. You're right. I act different when I'm with you. It's the real me."
"But--- but why don't you show it to others?"
"It's my father, I just want him to be proud."
"Ahh. I see." I said
"Come on." I added and dragged him to the Black Lake.

I climbed on a tree.

"Woah. Easy." Draco said
"Oh come on, white ferret." I said

He climbed on the tree and sat beside me.

"He taught me to climb a tree." I said
"I'm sure he's happy now"
"How can you say that?"
"Because you're happy"
"I hope he is"
"He is. You know, I kinda admire his bravery and kindness"

I just smiled and watch as the sun goes down.

"Do you still like me?" I asked
"Of course, I wouldn't be here if I don't"
"So you're saying that if you don't like me you will not be here." I said while I shaked my head in disappointment
"Be thankful that I like you because if I don't maybe you're stuck in your room crying"
"You're so thoughtful, Dracey poo. Thank you." I said while imitating Pansy
"Don't do that. That's weird"
"What do you mean? Is this weird Dracey?" I said while imitating Pansy again
"You're good at impersonating her" Draco said while laughing.
"I'll stop now"
"Good"
"Let's go back. I'm hungry"
"Okay" he said and climbed down

I was about to jump when I lose my balance and fell on top of Draco.

"I'm sorry" I said
"It's fine"

I noticed that he is hugging me and covering my head. I get up and cleaned my uniform. Pretending that it didn't happen.

"Thanks" I said
"For what?"
"For being by my side, you know."
"Welcome. Maybe you could owl me this summer. Because you know I'm not doing anything else this summer."
"Sure. Thanks again" I said
