Ch.9

"Oya oya hello there," Kuroo said as I saw him waiting for me outside the baths.

"So you were one of the peeping toms," I said with a sly smile punching his arm.

"Woah I wasn't peeping I was listening," He said in defense.

"ha very funny . Hey you should have your hair down sometime," I said .

"Why?" He questioned .

"ehh because it's kinda cute," I said.

"OMG Katelyn are ok? Are you running a fever because you just called me cute," he said in a shocked sarcastic way.

"Yeah but not as cute as me," I said playfully.

"Oh that reminds me . Whats your answer me or Yaku?" He asked.

" The world may never know," I said walking off to dinner.

"Hey come on tell me," He said chasing after me.

"N O P E,"I said as I walked into the cafeteria with Kuroo.

"HEY HEY HEY BRO," a guy with black and white hair as he ran towards be.

"Yo Bro who is she ? Because if she was a volleyball I'll hit that," the guy said as he wrapped his arm around Kuroo's shoulder.

"And I will hit you right back where the sun won't shine," I fired back.

"Did you know that this is boyfriend material, " the guy said as he held out his shirt.

"Did you know it's lame to use someone else's material," I said back all sassy like.

"Yo bro already used that one," Kuroo said .

"Is it hot in here or is it just you?" the guy said.

"Did that one too," Kuroo said as I walked over to Akaashi.

"Yo Akaashi kun who the hell is that weirdo with the pointy hair thingy," I asked as Akaashi sighed.

"Unfortunately he is the ace , captain and wing spikier at my school. His name is Boukoto san," Akaashi said.

"Hey does Kuroo san remember you yet," He said as  we grabbed our food and sat down.

"WAIT, how the do you know that idiot doesn't remember," I questioned him.

"Had a hunch," Akaashi said.

We had sat down with Sally, Boukto, Kuroo , and Kenma on the sideline playing his PSP.

"Oh Akaashi chan sorry for calling you by your given name without permission yesterday. I just wanted to make sure that was really you," Kuroo said to Sally.

"No problem Kuroo san," She replied.

"Anyways how did you meet Akaashi san and Akaashi chan?" Kuroo asked while stuffing his mouth with food.

"Well me and Sally met 3 years ago in Tokyo and met up again once we started high school. And I met Akaashi kun when I went to to Tokyo with Sally to visit our family," I told him trying not to mention that I knew Kuroo before.

"How about you?" I asked seeing how much he actually remembers.

"I met Akaashi san though volleyball in high school. However I knew Sally sense middle school, she was one of the fastest swimmer on the team," Kuroo said as we continued eating

Later that night the thought of Sally being noticed and not me lingered in my head keeping me from sleep. I grabbed my phone and ran up to the roof top. The time was about 11:00 which means everyone should be asleep. I opened the door to the roof top and laid on the ground looking at the stars. My mind started to wander.

How did Kuroo notice Sally but not me? I was the fastest swimmer on the team ,yet no one really knew who I was or noticed me. People on the team were the only people who noticed . Oh yeah I forgot I'm just invisible, a shadow, a nobody. No matter how skilled I am it will always go unrecognized. Ha I try so hard and get so far but in the end it doesn't really matter. No matter how hard I try I always been destined  to fail. Volleyball , art, love, life , and swimming all things I ended up failing in. I seem so depress yet I don't want to kill myself . Maybe I should just disappear then . It's like anyone would notice.

As I stared at the stars I felt a stream of tears rolling down my cheeks. As they rolled off my face each tear one by one would fall to the ground. My train of thought stopped as a shadowed figure peered it's head over me as it stared down at me.

"Whatcha doing up here little kitty cat," said the figured.

"Dumbass why are you up here you can get in trouble!" I panicked as I shined my phone's flashlight reviling the figure as Kuroo.

"I should be telling you the same," Kuroo said with a smirk.

"Touché," I replied.

"Anyway why are you up .... Wait why are you cry," Kuroo said with sympathy.

Not completely know why I'm crying either. I just stood there quietly not answering .

"I know what will cheer you up," Kuroo said as he grabbed your hand and ran inside the building.

"Kuroo where the hell are you taking me," I said in a panic.

"Shh it's a surprise," Kuroo said in a whisper.

"We're going to get in trouble ," I whispered.

"We'll be completely fine," Kuroo said as I sighed in relief.

"As long as we don't caught," Kuroo whispered.

"KUROO! I whisper yelled.

"This isn't going to end well us it?" I said to myself.

"Depends," Kuroo replied with a smile.

That smile of his made my tears go away are warmed my heart.
