If it wasnt for the fact that tensor was hevier than Esmeralda, he would have been on the floor. He remained in the same position as before and whispered to her softly,
"This is where you have to trust me the most, Esme." After saying that he got up from the bed, took Esme to his side, kept her close enough with his hand and said
"Mother, i guess fate couldnt wait until later tonight. She's the one." he said pointing to Esmeralda who was trembling with fear
"What do you mean, she's the one?" his mother asked
"I mean, she's the woman i told you about this morning. The one i love with all my heart. My future wife." he said those words and turned to Esmeralda, touched her chin and looked into her eyes. He could see she was scared
"I love her mother." he added
They all expected Mrs.Madelline to be angry and start shouting but she said very calmly "Are you sure, son?"
"I've never been more sure of anything else in my life."
Mrs. Madelline turned to Esmeralda and held her hands then she asked, "Do you love my son Esmeralda?"
"With all my heart madam." she replied and smiled at Tensor
"Please leave me alone with my son for a moment." she told her
As esmeralda was leaving the room Tensor turned her around
"It will be alright, my love." after saying those words Tensor placed a kiss on her cheeks. She didnt answer him, instead she kissed him back and left the room
Tensor turned back to his mother when Esmeralda was gone, "Well what do you think?"
"I always say i want whats best for you. Now, just tell me what made you choose Esmeralda of all the women out there?" his mother asked
"Mother, love runs it all. Just because Esmeralda is a maid doesn't mean i cant fall in love with her. I love her mom and if you really want whats best for me, you will support me on this." What made him speak like that only heaven knows because even he was surprised were all those words came from
"Of course son, I'll always support you. And I've known Esmeralda since her mother was working here, you were in Paris back then. She's a good girl."
"Thank you mama. I would appreciate it if you told her that yourself." he hugged her mother while saying that
"Of course. I'm going to speak to her now."
Mrs. Madelline was going down the stairs when she heard, "When you're done with her please tell her to come to my room?"
"You cant get enough of her, can you?" she asked sweetly
"No mama." he answered and they all laughed

When Esmeralda got out of Tensor's room, she was stuck outside outside the door for a while. She had to breathe. After what happened with Tensor and the way his mother caught them red handed, God knows she needed some air.
'But it will be alright, Tensor said so.' she thought
How come she was trusting a man so much while she didn't even matter to him? She tossed the thoughts aside and went back to the kitchen. She noticed that she was all alone in the kitchen so she thought her friend and fellow housemaid Carla went to buy some groceries. she continued with what she was doing before Tensor walked in earlier. Then she recalled what happened in his room. Today she got her first kiss. It felt so good, so sweet. She had imagined what it felt like to kiss a man. The vibrations came all over again in her stomach
She smiled at that and touched her lips. She closed her eyes to feel that sensation again. Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice that came from behind, "Esmeralda.."
Shocked, she answered without turning, "Yes ma'am."
"Can i speak you you for a minute?" Mrs. Madelline asked politely
"Okay." She answered. screw it, she thought.
"I know what you and my son are doing."
Oh geez..! He confessed!
"Madam, I..... I'm really sorry.. I didn't want to offend you in any way...."
"Tensor told me everything."
"I swear, I never planned for this to happen madam but Tensor........."
"Tensor told me that he loves you and you love him. He says you're the one he chooses. If that's the case, i have nothing against you my dear.."
"Really? Tensor said that?"
"Welcome to the family." she said before adding "You're a good girl and i know i can trust you to make my son happy."
"Thank you madam." It was all Esmeralda managed to say
"Anyway, my son is waiting for you in his room." she said as she was leaving "Oh, and Esmeralda?" she added
"Yes."
"Learn how to call me mother from now on." she said and left

Esmeralda knocked on Tensor's door while deep in thought so she didn't hear when Tensor told her to go inside
"Esme, love." Tensor was calling her as he opened the door
"Sorry, your mother said you needed me."
"Come in." he answered but didn't wait for her as he was pulling her inside and said, "We need to prepare for tomorrow." In reality, he just needed to see her again. Those lips he kissed a while ago felt paradise. He needed to kiss her again
"Tomorrow?" Esmeralda asked quite confused
"Yes. For the party remember?"
"Oh, the party. sorry i forgot."
"Its okay.. I also haven't thanked you yet for your help. Thank you Esme, your saving my life.."
Of course, you are just helping him Esmeralda. Its all an arrangement
"Its okay. I also want you to know that i don't require payment. I'm just going to help you freely."

"Of course. I understand"
"Okay then, you need to go and rest. Tomorrow will be a long day."
"That's fine. Good night Tensor."
Tensor knew that if she stayed in there one more minute, he would make love to her right then and there so it would be best to dismiss her.
