Chapter 7

They got to the mall and Tensor took the car to the VIP parking spot. He felt the need to warn her

"The press may ask a lot of questions, just be normal and I'll answer everything."

"Alright." Esmeralda answered calmly.

Surprising to Tensor, Esmeralda had changed a lot since that morning at the breakfast table. She wasn't that shy and sweet girl anymore. She hardly even made conversation during the ride to the mall so he worried that maybe he did something to upset her. He decided he would ask her after the shopping was done.

"Okay, lets go." Tensor said

Inside the mall Tensor suggested that she start with the salon. Everything was so beautiful and surreal which was why Esmeralda decided she must keep her distance. Tensor was being too much of a gentleman for a planned fake relationship.

Where is all this romance going to take you Esme?? Your taking the fastest road to pain land.

She was starting to care about him and this wasn't the normal care she would have for another human being, this was the 'I wanna be near you every moment' kind of care. It wasn't gonna end well for her because she would end up falling for him and he wouldn't have a care in the world.

"Esme, angel don't you like it?" She was so deep in thought she didn't realise they were done with her hair

Oh my God!! how can i not like this?

"Yes.. i mean no.. I love it. Thank you Tensor."

"Don't thank me love. Any man in love as I am would do the same and much more."

They thanked the stylist and left. Esmeralda saw that they left without paying so she asked, "Tensor, we didn't pay?"

"Yes. The bill is put in my credit card usually."

Of course. How could you think your the first girl he brought here. He obviously brings girls here every week. No wonder the staff knew him

As if reading her mind Tensor added, "I normally bring Katrina, my niece here whenever they come to visit with my sister."

"Oh.." Was the only answer Esmeralda could think of.

Stupid, stupid, stupid!! You had to think that far didn't you

Their next destination was the boutique. Tensor left Esmeralda to choose whatever she wanted 'no exception, whatever the cost' he added precisely while he went outside to get her a little surprise gift.

By a little present he meant a diamond necklace with her name on and a golden ring with diamonds on top. Why he did that even he doesn't know.

She deserves this.

He went back to the boutique to find Esmeralda done with her choices and waiting for him in the waiting area.

"Did i make you wait here long?" He asked concerned

"No. Just two minutes maybe."

When he leaned in to kiss her she moved her head to the side, "There's no one here Tensor. No need to pretend." She said

"Of course. I'm sorry, shall we?" like the gentleman he is he escorted her to the car while his mind was doing summersaults he thought it would pop out any minute.

He put on some music to reduce the quietness. Oh he wanted to touch her alright but he was afraid of the rejection once again.

So she'll only accept me infront of people. Why is this so hard now Tensor. If a girl rejects you its better, right? WRONG.. Not if its Esme! Oh, your falling Tensor!!!

Esmeralda was waiting for the romantic moves he always made, the sweet nothings he always said but every time he stole a glance he found him busy driving

Now you've done it. Very smooth you idiot, you practically drove him away. Oh, shut up! Its what you wanted so suck it up!!

They got home and found the staff waiting for them outside for them. After helping put her items inside her room Esmeralda said she was going for a nap so Tensor took off to his room too.

He couldnt sleep. He felt like he had to do something, but what? Then an idea popped into his mind. Yes, he was going to knock on her door and ask if she is okay. Then he would kiss her on his way out and pretend it was a mistake.

Real clever Tensor. she'll think your crazy!

"Oh, screw it." He got up and walked to Esmeralda's door. It was very quiet inside he figured she was asleep by now.

Control yourself Tensor. You will see her in two hours and she'll be all yours.

Just when he was about to leave he heard a 'bang' coming from inside the room. He hurriedly knocked thinking Esmeralda was hurt.

"Esme, open up. Are you okay?!" He waited for a reply but got no answer

"Esmeralda.... Esme open the door!" Still no answer and now his heart was popping out of his chest so he opened the door.

"Esme!! where are you?" He couldn't find her in the bedroom. He was running wild then noticed her bathroom door open so he ran inside

"Esmeralda! Esme... dear god no!"
