A/N: Okay wow, I sincerely wasn't expecting to get over 100 reads with the first chapter, so thanks a bunch for that. You all are pretty rad for reading this garbage. The chapters will probably be a little on the shorter side (??) from now on because I'm perpetually busy and a lazy piece of crud, but I hope you enjoy what I put out nonetheless. Also, sorry that I'm a terrible person. First chapter and I'm already procrastinating on writing it .-. Anyway, enjoy!
(Also tw for some rude comments and self depreciating thoughts)

Ever since Leo noticed how abnormally heightened my anxiety has been the past several weeks, he's been making me take medication for it. As much as I've loved being able to face the day without wanting to go home and hide under the covers for all eternity, there's something I miss about summoning Anxiety and having him help me with my problems.
He had become something of a friend to me, weirdly enough. His love of Disney movies made him an interesting conversationalist, and I have to admit his music taste is decent.
It beats out podcasts or having the Campfire Song Song on repeat, anyway.
But...I've felt so good recently that it almost makes me forget why I had never taken these pills in the first place. I glanced at the bright orange pharmacy bottle filled partway with white capsules of my salvation.
Sorry, Anx. It's for the best, I thought as I threw one in my mouth and washed it down with water and an overwhelming sense of contentment.
-Anxiety-
I could hear Morality from all the way down the hall.
"Where did Anx run off to?"
I didn't look back. I couldn't look back. I would just see his disappointed face and the other facets rolling their eyes and I think that would be far too much for me to handle right about now.
I couldn't breathe. Try as I might, every intake was shaky and strained, and all that emitted from my mouth were small whimpers as my body started to shut down.
Panic attack.
Why, though? Why now?
I racked my brain.
Oh. That's why.
Food.
Just the thought of it churns up my stomach and makes me feel sicker than the patient from The Black Parade album. I tried desperately to swallow the surfacing memories for Thomas' sake, but the feelings were too strong for me to contain.

Suddenly, I remembered something. A moment, from when I was in middle school and still suffering amongst teasing and bullies.
"Hey, fattie."
They were so cruel.
"How much food you got packed in there, huh?"
"Jesus, it's like you're walking around with literal meat slabs for thighs."
"You want to do theater? Hah! Not with that stomach!"
A twelve year old Thomas was far too kind to do anything about the words they would say in passing, but that didn't mean he wasn't bothered by them. That didn't mean his newly created Anxiety wasn't bothered by them.
