A/N: Dear all you lovely readers,

I probably should have mentioned when I started this fanfic that I'm in highschool, so I don't have much free time to update my stories. Since the cross-country season just ended, however, I'm hoping I'll be able to get my homework done earlier to free up my nights. I feel really bad that it's taken so long to post an update, what with this story suddenly gaining so much attention, but I wanted to let you know that I really, really appreciate all your support. I see every single one of your comments that ask for an update, and each time I feel both grateful and horrible for never being able to write.

That being said, I hope you understand why the updates are coming in so slowly. I just have a lot going on at the moment, but I swear I love you all so much!

Here's your next (very well deserved) chapter :) I hope you enjoy.

-Anxiety-

There were voices.

Feeling my heart begin to pound, I tried as desperately as I could to continue feigning sleep and listen to what they were saying.

"...-nd you saw him! ...collapsed on the floor!"

Morality. That was the first voice, his concern seeping into my heart like poison. But...he never sounds this serious...

"I understand that, Patton...~" The second voice trailed off. I couldn't tell who it was, but they sounded far more calm and collected. Noticing that someone had put me in bed,

"...symptoms...lack of sleep..."

Logan. I felt my eyelids flutter in spite of myself.

"Yes, but why would...unless he wasn't...right?" Morality whispered. I got frustrated with myself at not being able to make out every word, but before I could even consider attempting to shift closer without them noticing, I heard the door open and close. Then, a weight pressed down at the end of my bed.

It was quiet.

"Anx," Patton's voice came again, "...what's gotten into you?"

I wanted to answer. I wanted to open my mouth and speak every single toxic word on my mind until I was blue in the face, but I didn't. Moments later, Patton sighed.

"Sleep well, kiddo," he whispered, pressing a kiss to my forehead before leaving the same way Logan had.

It was quiet again, but this time it stayed. Somehow, it was heavier. Thicker. Chokingly empty.

"Help," I whispered under my breath.

-Third Person-

"Something's wrong with Anxiety!" Morality blurted after meeting back up with Logan in the kitchen. The intelligent side gave him an incredulous look.

"You've already said that at least ten times now, Patton." He said, pushing his glasses up before taking a swig from the mug in his hands. Morality couldn't help but pout in reply.

"And they say talking about your feelings makes you feel better." He whined. Logan looked confused.

"Who is they and what source are they crediting for this information?"
