Kanzaki's POV
I continue to stare out my window seeing the trees move slightly from the breeze outside.

I barely got any sleep the night before because my brother wasn't home so I was left by myself.

I know I'm only six but I still don't like to be left alone at the house with my thoughts wandering to their own places.

I finally get out of bed and I walk towards my closet as I grab a black shirt and some grey pants.

I walk to the front door and put on my sandals then locking the door with my key as I head to the academy.

When I get there time passed quickly because I'm late as I knock entering the room with all eyes on me.

Mankito just sighs as he looks at me with crossed arms to see what my excuse is this time.

"Sorry I got lost on the path of life." I say while scratching the back of my head.

"Just go take you're seat."

My seat was on the fifth row next to Itachi Uchiha who is quiet but we've talked a couple times before.

I walk up to my seat and sit down next to him but he doesn't turn his attention away from the window.

Usually he'll say hi to me or smile at me but today he's in his head again which doesn't surprise me.

I bite my lip as I look at his features realizing his hair is black and not brown.

It's a little long coming down to his shoulder blades in a low ponytail that hangs over the Uchiha symbol on his shirt.

His bangs are off to the side so they aren't in his way and his eyes are a charcoal black.

"Hello?" He says as he snaps his fingers in front of me.

I blink once as I look around slightly realizing I was staring at him this whole time.

"S-Sorry. W-What did you s-say?" I mumble out.

"I asked why you were staring at me."

"Uh I was just..." I start to say but I don't have a very good excuse.

"It's fine." He says as he looks at the board.

I nod as I look at the board as well blushing from embarrassment as Mankito Sensei starts calling people back for their headband test.

"Kanzaki Hatake." He says and I stand up.

"Good luck." Itachi whispers.

I smile at him as I go to the back and I look to see Koturo and Lord Third as I stand in the middle of the room.

"Make 3 shadow clones please." Lord Third asks.

I make twenty shadow clones and they look at me with wide eyes and smile as I dismiss the clones as I smile back at them.

"Didn't expect anything less from Kakashi Hatake's sister." Koturo says.

My smiled fades as I walk forward and I take my headband and I walk back to the room.

I take my seat and I lay my headband on the desk as I cross my arms while narrowing my eyes at it.

"You did it. Why aren't you happy?" Itachi asks softly.

"You wouldn't understand." I mumble.

"Look she did it." Someone behind me whispers.
