Kanzaki's POV
Sasuke has been sleeping for hours after running low on chakra trying to complete the fire ball jutsu.
He's still laying in my lap and every so often a smile will form on his face from a good dream he's having.
I've been running my fingers through his hair when I hear footsteps coming from behind me.
I use my free hand to reach a kuni in my holster on my leg as I pull it out and I swing my arm backwards as the person jumps back.
"Kanzaki it's me." Itachi's voice fills my ears.
I sigh with relief as I put my kuni away and I turn my head to see him still in his ANBU uniform.
"Why are you sitting here by yourself?" He asks as he walks towards me.
"I'm not by myself." I say as he walks next to me.
"He fell asleep?"
"Yeah. He's been practicing the fire ball jutsu to impress your father. He's getting there." I say as he sits down next to me.
"He's a good kid. Strong. He's gonna change the world. I know it." Itachi says as he stares at his little brother in my lap.
"He will." I agree.
Sasuke wiggles around before his eyes slowly open and he lifts his head and sees Itachi and me then a smile spreads across his face.
"Big brother!" He says as he hugs him.
"Watch me do this jutsu!" He says as he walks to the end of the docks.
