Waking Nightmare

The rest of the night after the encounter with Asura was either dreamless or filled with nightmares. The latest one has been the worse by far. In the nightmare you have the axe summoned and on the ground is the bodies of your friends. You dropped the axe from the shock and frantically looked around. You heard a gurgled cough come from behind you and you whipped around to see Emma. You attempted to run to her only to trip and fall. You turned and a substance that looked like black blood was cementing you to the ground and slowly making its way up your legs. You tried to crawl to Emma, but your attempts were futile. A figure appeared next to you and it was the demonic version of you.

Dark (Y/n):Oh this is gonna be fun.

You grasped onto his ankle, but he simply walked out of your grasp. You tried to scream out to Emma, but your voice dissapated before it could even reach your lips. The dark version of you walked over to Emma who gave a soft smile and opened her arms. The black substance had reached your hips so your legs were trapped. You saw the dark version of you give off a fake smile and hug her. He turned with the hug and smirked at you before summoning your blade. He pointed the blade at Emma's back and with one quick motion the blade pierced your miester's chest. You watched in pure terror as he cast her corpse aside and raised the blade to examin the blood. He smiled before making the blade disapper and walking over to you. Any chance to attack him faded and the black substance made it to your shoulders and was beginning to impair your vision. You were nearly covered in the substance when your dark version knelt down and whispered to you.

Dark (Y/n):Just giving you a sneak peak of the future.

You woke up in a cold sweat. You frantically grabbed your chest and felt your quickned heart beats thumping against your palm. You breathed in deeply and shook slightly. You sat up and let the cover fall to your waist. You brought your hands to your already dishevled hair and clutched onto it tightly. 

(Y/n):No. i won't let that happen.

You quickly threw off your covers and stood up. Being hit by the sudden coolness of the air and your already strained muscles you collapsed back onyo the bed. You grit your teeth as you forced yourself to stand and walked to your door. You opened the door and made your way to Emma's room. You placed a hand against the wall to steady yourself as your reached the door. You opened it and peaked in. The light was off, but you could see Emma was not in the room. You flung open the door and looked around. You panicked and ran towards the living room. You entered and looked around.

Emma:(Y/n)?

You turned and Emma was standing in the entrance of the kitchen. You smiled in relief and walked towards her.

Emma:What are you doing up s-

You cut her off as you pulled her into a tight embrace.

Emma:(Y/n)?

You clund to her tightly as she managed to drag the hug into the kitchen. She sat down at the table and your sat next to her. She pried you off and looked up at you slightly.

Emma:What is going on?

(Y/n):I had a dream that I lost you again.

Emma:Well I am right here. So you don't have to worry.

(Y/n):I have to because I am your weapon.

Emma:I understand that, but I am a big girl who can handle herself.

You smiled a bit at her comment.

Emma:Now this dream is why your up so early?

(Y/n):How early is it?

Emma:Three in the morning.

(Y/n):Wow.

Emma:Now can I ask you something?
