//Kageyama's POV//

The pain of broken bones was all that I could feel along with the wet clothes that were plastered to my body from either the blood or rain water that had soaked them. A shroud of darkness had conformed itself around me, making it impossible to see anything else except for the blackness that seemed like it sealed my inevitable and inescapable fate. The sounds of screeching tires, snapping bones, my weak breathing and failing heartbeat, all filled my ears, overwhelming me with the thought that this is what it's like to die. That this is what everyone experiences before their heart finally gives up. That everyone, no matter how horrific or painful their death was, had to relive every single second that lead up to them dying until their heart finally gave up and would allow them to slip into the cold, almost comforting hands of death. Or so I thought.

Everything just stopped. Everything went silent and my eyes snapped open. I found myself laying on my back, in what looked and felt like a black pool of some kind of liquid that resembled water. I sat up slowly and looked around, seeing that it was still only black but that there was a small light source that only allowed me to see my pale reflection coming off of the water.
"H-hello?" I called out, my voice cracking and hoarse from the lack of use. The only response I received was the hallow echo of my own voice. I cleared my throat and called again, this time a little louder but there was still no response, making me feel more confused by my sudden, unexplainable and lonely predicament.

Not knowing what else to do, I forced my trembling body to stand on my weak legs. With some effort I managed to move forward with the hope that I could figure out more about where I was or find a way out. Slowly, my legs started to move forward into the dark, emptiness that I was surrounded by.

After what felt like an eternity of walking and seeing that I wasn't going anywhere, even after changing directions countless times, I sat back down in the warm, black "water" that covered the ground.

Where am I? What the hell is going to happen to me? My thoughts only made my fear of the unknown grow, making me feel claustrophobic inside my own head. Am I dead? But I'm too young to die! My breath quickened, and my heart sped up. Or at least would if I could still feel my heart. I looked around again for the millionth time, hoping I could find something hidden within the shadows. My eyes stumbled over what seemed to be a small light that was slowing growing and changing shape. I covered my eyes from the now large, blinding light. The shape had taken the form of what looked like a short, young boy who was running toward me. A final flash of light shot through shadows, making them seem to evaporate from the sudden burst of stark white.

I slowly lowered my arm that had shielded my eyes, letting them open as I did so. Only a few inches away, was the last person I had expected to see squatting in front of me.

His orange hair and pale skin seemed to have a sort of grayish glow that radiated from it. Those dark hazel eyes that seemed to look directly into my soul stared up at me, not portraying any readable emotions.

The only difference between this version and the one that I knew, was the white robe that was hung loosely around his small figure and the long white wings that were attached to his back. I stayed sitting, paralyzed by confusion instead of fear this time. "H-hinata?"
