Basil and Dawson came into the room just in time to hear this. While Basil was untying the old woman you started to cry.
Mrs J: I'm so sorry, my dear.

You rolled your eyes. You opened the door to be hit with the smell of cheap beer and cigarette smoke. While the entertainment was going on, Basil lit a cigarette and started to smoke.
Basil: Dawson stay close and do as I do and ... (Y/N)...
Before he could answer, you took the cigarette from his mouth and gave it a huge puff. Both of them were shocked. Basil blushed a little which made you smile.

You started walking to the table taking another puff of the cigarette with Basil and Dawson behind you.
Not long after the performer was booed off the stage a barmaid came to the table, wiping her hands on her apron.

you: 3 pints for me and my partners and put it on my tab will ya?
She smiled and walked off. The second act came on quicker than a mousetrap.
