My Time In Valhalla

Chapter 2

We start looking around for the DOOM marine only to find a demon hoard comprising mainly of Barons and Pinkys that stretches as far as we could see. Pinkys are quadripetal demons that have a very thick hide on the front and midsections of their bodies and are vulnerable from behind. Barons are 10 foot tall with goat legs and bull horns and are very muscular with a humanoid upper chest. Behind us is the wall of the valley  we are in that rises above the clouds. We look at each other and nod. I jump down wielding my favorite weapons the  spear and shield I made from Hellstone which oddly enough is platinum in color and as I found out cuts through the toughest demons like a hot knife through butter, on my back is my Hellstone greatsword. Vi is waiting on the ledge with her sabot rifle which shoots tungsten darts that are half a foot long and an inch thick at mach 6. When I get to the first demon which is a Pinky it charges at me so I side step and swing my spear in an arc that cuts off the Pinkys head right above his jaw. That's when I realized that something was majorly wrong. my suits argent systems were offline. That means that I won't absorb argent energy from dead demons to heal my wounds and resupply my ammunition. So when Vi runs out of ammo for the sabot rifle she comes done beside me wielding a heavy assault rifle in one hand and a plasma rifle in the other. I put my spear up to make the most out of my chaingun while I had ammo for it. I mow down 60 more demons with it then i get my heavy assault rifles and go to work. 6 hours later me and Vi have no ammo left except for our BFG's and are on the brink of death backed into a corner so with the last amount of our strength we pull out our BFGs and align them to were the shots will collide 500 meters away to show anyone who finds this battle field that we didn't go down without a fight. We charge all three power cells in the BFGs which will be destroyed by the energy output of the process. I look over at Vi and smile even though she can't see it and say "if we're going down because of Samuel we're gonna take as many of these bastards with us and, by the way, I've always loved you Vi ." And with those words we released the triggers in unison and watched as hundreds of demons turned into meaty bits and with a flash of light the world faded out. We died the end.
