Chapter 5 Best meal in a long time

I wake up in my room still in my praetor suit. I get up and walk to the closet were a leather duster a black shirt and leather pants are hanging up so I change into them. when i step out of my room i see a girl who is roughly six foot she turns around and says "hi I'm Anne Richthofen and I vill be your Valkyrie zis evening." She then says now lets get Vi shall vee. I say okay let's get her then.

When we get to the  hall of the slain(as I learned it is called) I nearly shit bricks because of the size of the animal on the gianormous roasting spit. When we sit down I notice a man with an eye patch and a blazing spear. So I turn to Richthofen and ask her who the hell is that. She turns and gives me a look like "are you fucking retarded?" So I say what? and he says  he's Odin for your information you fucking retard. So I tell her to fuck off and eat a dick. She then says "vill do, just not before you." Then I hear Helgi say "let the presentation of the dead commence!"  Then a big holographic screen burst into existence over a lake I just now noticed existed. Thankfully I was last or at least that's what Richthofen told me, turns out he lied. Helgi yells "Wade Wilson and Vi Kain!" The video started out in a nice apartment with a view of Boston harbor. The camera then turned to show a girl about Richthofen's age who has crewcut black hair and was wearing nothing but a bra and panties. The whole hall erupts with shouts and catcalling. When I turn to look at Richthofen she's as red as a tomato. The video then fast forwards to her stepping through a portal to hell and shows a sea of demons coming closer and closer to two figures one white, one pink. Then there's a blinding light and then two golden forms rise out of the armored figures and two arms reach out and grab them then the video cuts out. Then the thanes start talking and I hear one say that was a big ass gun it definitely counts. Helgi then bellows "we find the two of you worthy of Valhalla. Now do either of you know your parentage ? We say no and he says "Ladies first. We shall call in a seer unless the Allfather wishes to intercede." He then turns to Odin and receives silence "Very well bring forth the vala and-" between the roots of the tree where the waterfall hit the dark lake a massive bubble erupted. BLOOP! On the surface of the water stood three women shrouded in white. Except for the crackle off cooking  fire and the sound of the waterfall the hall was silent. Thousands of warriors watched frozen in amazement as the white women glided across the floor heading toward Vi. "Anne" I whispered . "Anne, what's going on?" "Zee Norns" she said "Zee Norns themselves have come to read your girlfriend's fate. Zis hasn't happened since Magnus Chase entered Valhalla." (my friend @DemonSlayeroftheSea helped me come up with this first prophecy) the middle Norn threw half a dozen runestones into the air they floated above her and expanded to the size of poster board. One of them had a weird f and the Norns said "Fehu the rune of Frey." They then said
"Made from love to counter hate,
All alone she rewrites fate
Filled with love to counter rage
Defying fate she saves the sage." They then retreat back to the water a disappear. After a minute or two Helgi says "Now boy your turn. We will seek wisdom from the runes unless the All-father wishes to intercede." He then turned to Odin and Odin boomed "the All-father wishes to intercede." He throws six runestones in the air and they expand too He then points to one and turns to me and says " Ansuz the rune of Odin. I am your father and this is your prophecy : Born of hate he shatters fate, Contains lust only one can sate, Seethes with rage only one can tame, a hero doomsday shall not claim, with sword of hell that serves him well, he shall storm the house of Hel." So I say "Well shit. That's a little dark and foreboding." Then the boy next to me stood up with his valkryie as his name was announced. "Korakas Summers!" Helgi called out only to receive a glare from the boy. "First off I prefer Corey." He growled before turning to his valkryie and nodding as she nodded back nervously before handing her valkryie vision camera to Helgi who activated it and it showed the male fighting a fire giant as a dark blue aura and water and electricity swirled around him as he fought the giant with no remorse nor mercy before generating a trident from water and fighting him trident to flaming fists until a little girl ran forward chasing a kitten and calling out "no mittens! It's not safe here" immediately the giant roared and sent a shockwave of fire and the boy jumped in front of the girl and turned into a dome of water that evaporated into steam and the video ended. The thanes then start debating about whether or not Corey's death was worthy of Valhalla they eventually decide it is. Just as Helgi tries to move on to the fourth and final person also the lights go out and a luminescent green fog starts swirling around and and then solidify into a man in a green tuxedo. He has welts around his mouth and has multi colored hair. Everybody gasps and I hear Odin mumble "Loki!" Under his breath . Loki says "but wait you forgot my son's fate so here it is: a warrior trapped far from home, fights for peace but stands alone, bears the curse of eternal pain, but wields the power to bring the rain, once a sage he turns the page, against the house of Hel he brings true rage." Then Loki says "Tata, see ya real soon!" Then disappears with a poof. After that I didn't pay attention for the rest of the meal. When we got back to floor nineteen Vi asked me to come into her room so we could talk. We talked all the way until 3 a.m. and eventually passed out in each others arms.
