Chapter five

Your P.O.V.
I opened my eyes, everything was blurry for a second, I looked around.
No one here. I was in a corner with a blanket draped over my body, just to my neck.
The door soon flung open revealing Gene. He looked at my bed to see I wasn't there, "right here.." I said. He turned to me and walked over. He then sat down, I put my head on his shoulder.
He's amazing...
"How you feelin?" He asked playing with my greasy hair. I shrugged, ow that hurt.
He gave me a warm smile, "when you feel better, you wanna go to the beach?" He asked. I nodded coughing a bit.
"Shhh shhhh shh.." he said softly.
"Come on, the floors too hard." He said lifting me up bridle style. He put me on the hospital bed, and layed next to me.
I smiled at him, he hugged me, I hugged back weakly, why haven't I fallen asleep for a while is what I'm wondering.
I sighed and wrapped my legs around him, his body heat heated me up.
"Is this a bad time?" I heard Sasha say, "N-no." Gene answered for me. He got out of our hug and just sat beside me.
Sasha raised an eyebrow, "Uh huh.. you l-" Sasha was cut off by Zenix bursting into the room. "Zenix!" Sasha scolded him.
"What?" He scoffed. "You can't just burst in here like that!" Sasha scoffed back.
They bickered more and more, "Would you two shut up!?" I yelled at them, my voice croaking a bit. They stopped bickering and shut their mouths. "Thank you Y/n." Gene said, hugging me. I closed my eyes letting them just rest, "Sasha, we should go and let Y/n have her sleep. You too Zenix." Gene said. They nodded. Sasha and Zenix left but Gene stayed behind for a second. He layed my head on the pillow, tucked me under the blankets and kissed my forehead,"I love you.." he whispered and left. I fell asleep.
Genes P.O.V.
I walked out after kissing her forehead, she looks so cute I just wanna hold her forever..
I went home and sat on the couch... I'm. So. BORED!
"Hey Gene!" Said Dante. I sighed, "Hi." I replied. "Why so down?" Dante asked sitting next to me. I didn't answer, I promised Y/n I'd take her to the beach so.. mise well go shopping? I got off the couch and grabbed my wallet heading out. This could be fun.
I went into a store looking around for some towels, I don't have many beach towels, none in fact.
I grabbed two, I then looked for some random things, like sunscreen and sunglasses.
I do have swim trunks.... I guess it'll be fine! That is.. is she ever gets better.
While I walked home, I saw a little girl on the sidewalk. She was crying?
I put down my bags and kneeled down to her.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
Her lip quivered, ".....N-nothing.." she replied. "And that explains why your on the sidewalk crying, right?" I asked giving a warm smile. "I-I'm just hungry.." she said, but I could hear in her voice that she was lying.
"Please don't lie to me." I said, "I-I-I have t-to go... B-bye." The girl said running off. "Hey! Wait!" I yelled running after her. She had purple hair in pigtails. Long, I may add. She wore a black and white dress with a black headband and black shoes.
I finally grabbed her wrist, "Please tell me what's wrong?" I asked her. "I l-lost my family! They all dead!" She cried. My eyes widened, "Really?" I asked her. She nodded wiping away tears.
She wasn't lying this time! "Are you sure they're dead?" I asked, she nodded. "I saw their body's! Lifeless! Please.. help me.." she said before falling backwards. I still had hold of her wrist so I lifted her up.
We walked back to my house, "Did you kill her!?!" Asked Dante. "No! You crack head!" I yelled at him setting the girl on the couch.
"Did..did.. you m-make h-her?" He asked in a whisper."NO!!!" I yelled at him.
"Ok, ok I was just making sure jeez Gene." Dante said. I looked at her face, she had freckles you could barely see, a cute button nose, (not literally a button guys, no.. just no XD) and slim lips.
Her eyes soon fluttered open, revealing violet eyes, that's pretty rare.
(It is i looked it up yo!) "W-Where am I?" She asked, "Your in my house! Do want me to take you to an orphanage?" I asked her. "N-no.. I wanna stay with you!" She said, hugging me by wrapping her arms around my neck. My eyes widened.. but I'm just a badass kid. IM NOT A GOOD ROLE MODEL!!!!
"Uh, maybe not me.. we could find someone else!" I said, "Nah, you!" She said with stars in her eyes. Dammit!! It's so cute. Come on, Gene resist!!!
I sighed, "O-ok, just for a bit THEN we have to get you a different family!" I said sternly. She nodded, wiping some tears from her face.
"THANK YOU!!" She yelled, she jumped on me into a hug which made me fall over.
This.. will be different... (who else is thinking, Ok one Gene, YOU TOTALLY FORGOT YOUR BAGS!! Uh two, you can't take care of dat girl you badass!!! At least get her some cool things to wear XD
And threee, you and Y/n should take care of da kid together, OR you and Jack XD just me?)
Your P.O.V.
"How ya feelin?" I heard Jack say, I opened my eyes, to see the same green haired, Irish man. "I'm feeling good Jack." I said yawning.
He chuckled, "Well, you feeling good enough to have some pancakes?" He asked, "ALWAYS!!" I said pumping my fists in the air. He laughed and tickled my belly which made me kick and scream and laugh for mercy. Heh.. we have a weird bond.
Soon he left and came back in with pancakes, it had, whipped cream, strawberries, chocolate, raspberries and syrup..
OMI DIS LOOKS GOOOD!!!!
"Yum!" I said when he gave me a fork and knife. I tossed the knife away and just hate with my fingers and the fork. Klee as I scoffed all of it in my food hole. He's the best brother I could ask for. I smiled, I love him.
And.. I love Gene.
