"Bill?" My daughter's voice repeated. Her eyes glistened with desperation. Her face glowed from fresh tears and hope as she reached a hand out from one of the slots in the door. She had been practicing invisibility at the time when I passed her cell.

"They're going to lure the others out here so that they can steal their powers!" Adelaide blurted as I grabbed her cold hand. I simply nodded before using a little fire to warm her icy skin.

"I'll get you out of here Addy." I murmured before turning and walking swiftly towards the room I had been told to meet them in.

"Please be back soon, I want to go home." Adelaide called to me and I turned around briefly to see the piercing blue eyes of my angel crying. My heart shattered for her as I was forced to turn around and ignore her. If anyone had seen us talking my entire plan to save her may fail.

Dominic Pov:

There was something sickening about Adelaide's desire to return to the jungle. I could see her change in personality now that the others had come outside. Andrea was in a heated argument with the one who had always known the other twins thoughts in advance. Leaving Wendy's training session quietly I approached them while Desmond shuffled his feet.

"What do you think of these two?" Desmond asked while motioning towards our cousins.

"Maybe Adelaide's had a personality crisis..." I shrugged while ducking as a blast of energy was blown our way.

"I guess we haven't really been the same since you became a bronze..." Desmond trailed off while looking away.

"Hey you get to be a silver!" I cheered while lightly waving a fist in the air. He glances at me; cracking a light smile at my broken humour.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you..." my brother mumbled while pulling me into a big hug. His eyes were damp with un shed tears.

"You're the worst sister ever!" Our hug was disturbed by Adelaide's shout as she shoved her sister to the ground and stormed into the jungle. Andrea stood up slowly her eyes flashing between angry to heartbroken as she brushed the dirt off her shirt.

"What happened to you out there?" She shouted out to Adelaide before turning towards the cottage and murmuring, "what happened to you?"

My brother and I exchanged glances before we shot off in the direction of the jungle. I was afraid that Adelaide would get lost all over again we were nearing the tree line when Bill dragged Adelaide out of Jungle while scolding her and murmuring what would your father think. Uncle Dipper appeared in the doorway with Andrea by his side; only to relax at the sight of Adelaide and Bill.

"Addy! What were you thinking?" Dipper cried while running to his daughter. Bill released her and stared off into the forest before looking in our direction. He signalled for us to follow him before heading towards Andrea and leading her towards the treehouse. Dipper took Adelaide's hand and dragged her into the house.

"You children must not go into the jungle!" Bill ordered as soon as we were all safely in the fort.

"Obviously!" Andrea snapped while crossing her arms and staring down at the house. Her lips pursed together as she stared down.

"No, they have Adelaide, that's a fake waiting to be able to steal her full powers." Bill growled while following his daughter's gaze. I tilted my head wondering how he had found this information.

"I'll help you do anything to get my real sister back!" Andrea snapped her head around. Her eyes glowed with hope as she stared at Bill. Bill's eyes flashed with panic as though he was about to tell his other daughter she couldn't help, but he thought otherwise once he realized he could say whatever he wanted and she wouldn't listen.

"I'll get back to you when I think of a complete plan." Bill sighed while pulling her into a grateful hug. He stood up and started climbing down the ladder before popping his head back up. "Oh, and don't tell Dipper!"

We all broke into a fit of laughter as he continued descending down the ladder once again. Adelaide was no where in sight, but Mom and dad were talking quietly on the two lawn chairs across the yard. Wendy was busy raking some leaves back into the jungle while Aunt Kandae stood pacing with that look she always had when she was stressed over a scenario like ours.

The three of us sat in the treehouse watching quietly. When had our world come to this? Where was the real Adelaide? I looked over at Andrea who was trying to salvage her usual neutral face. Tears slipped down her cheek lightly as she closed her eyes and mouthed random words. Desmond and I pulled her into a large hug in which she broke into a full on sob.

"We should go pretend that the imposter is my sister...." Andrea grumbled after the sibling hug. Her eyes looked neutral once again unlike my twin's and my own shoulders which were damp with her tears. She briefly closed her eyes before climbing down the ladder.
