The bell rang for the end of the school day. Faith eagerly walked to her locker, getting her stuff and when she turned to leave, Malcolm was behind her. "Hey, would you like to hang out today?" He asks, giving her a warm smile. She smiles back and replied, "Sure! Where are we going?"
"My house."

Faith blushes and says, "O-Oh, well I need to take my medication, then I'll be right out. Do you have like, a vehicle of some sort?" He replies, "A motorcycle, I have an extra helmet, so don't worry about that." She takes a small bottle full of pills and went into the girls bathroom. "Two a day..." She says to herself, swallowing down two pills at once. She gagged a bit, but grabbed her bag to head out. Someone behind her grabbed her shoulder before she could leave. The figure slammed Faith against a bathroom stall. Bella, holding Faith by her neck said, "You aren't going anywhere with Malcolm. He deserves way better than you." What Bella said hurt Faith. She thought, She's right, he does deserve better....

Faith started to choke while Bella squeezed her hand tighter around Faith's neck. To Faith's surprise, a tall, curly black-haired boy with the shiniest blue eyes pushed Bella off of Faith. Bella yelled, "What are you doing in the girls bathroom?!" He replied, "What are you doing choking my friend?!" The boy held Faith in his arms and she looked up at him. Malcolm, looked at her, always with those caring and thoughtful eyes. Malcolm picked Faith in with her bags, then walked out of the girl's bathroom.

He set her down close to the neon blue motorcycle he owns. "Th-Thank you..." she says, rubbing her neck. "Your welcome, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." She smiles, "Don't worry about it." Malcolm hands her a small black helmet and he puts on his own helmet. He sits on the bike, then motions her over to sit behind him. She sits on the bike carefully, putting on her helmet also and asks, "Where do I hold on?" He replies, "To me." He takes her arms and wraps them around his chest for him to hold on. Malcolm blushes a bit while Faith was turning insanely red. "Hold on tight!" He yells before riding away, about five blocks away from his home.

When the arrive, all Faith could see was a small, brown house with a tiny porch and limited front yard space. Malcolm offered her his hand to help get her off the motorcycle. She takes his hand and got up, taking off her helmet. Malcolm did the same, then led her inside. When they got inside, it was pretty dirty and smelled like rotten fish. Faith immediately held her nose and coughed. "Sorry about the smell," he says, taking off his hoodie. "I was planning on cleaning it, but I got lazy...here, sit on the couch I can bring in some snacks if you'd like." She replied, "No thanks, I'll just sit on the couch." She walks to the living room and sat on the couch, looking around. Malcolm sighs and sits next to Faith, looking at her. Faith looks at him and blushes a bit, then asks, "Why weren't you gonna tell anyone about the bullying incident with Bella?" He looks at the floor, then says, "W-Well, I've had a friend that was bullied too and I told a teacher about it, it didn't go well for him or the bully."

They sat in a few minutes of silence, then they started their English homework, helping each other if needed. When they finished, it was 6 PM and Faith packed her stuff. "My dad is probably a bit worried, I should get going." she says, putting on her bag, but Malcolm grabbed her hand before she left, then got a vase full of colorful flowers. "Faith, I would like to to meet my parents, but you'll have to come with me." Faith nodded. "Ok, where are we go-" She was interrupted by Malcolm pulling her out the door, her hand in his hand and he runs with her to the cemetery.
