The name felt bitter on his tongue, she was a teacher from the best highschool in New York, that is until a band room exploded on her watch, she blamed a kid who ducked out and vanished, a non existent kid, tony offered to pay for the room, looking to draw attention away from Peter Parker's new school.

When tony asked Peter about it, he said there was nothing out of the ordinary, and he claimed to see a kid too young for high school follow the tour group.

"Now on behalf of the school districts in new york, I'd like to thank you personally", she said and Tony nodded and gestures to the kitchen, "would you like a drink?", she eyed him up and down, "oh, I'd love a drink".

She was a bitch, but hot damn, she was eye candy.

"So tell me", she sat cross kneed on a stool at the counter, eyes set on him, tony set down two wine Glasses, "is there a miss stark?", tony scoffed, "have you met me? Yes you have, but eh, no , I'm on a, 'brake'" tony cringed, he said brake, but pepper flat out dumped him.

"Well, that sounds lonely" she put a hand on his leg, tony let his eyes drift down, "you need some company?", her hand drifted to his knee.

"Well-" ,tony tensed, her hand went tight, her eyes burned into his, "no", she seemed taken back, tony felt a rush of panic, a sudden image of her with sharp greener eyes and black scales flashed before him.

Tony made a move to stand, but she grabbed his neck and lifted him off the floor, panic tore through tony, "why don't you keep me company"

"OUTA HERE! SCRAM YOU NO GOOD BRATS!", a fat worker waved a fist at Leo and Percy as they bolted across the wood and machine paths, half built building behind them, Leo held many blueprints.

"Close one- don't tell my mom, she'll kill me", Leo gave a toothy smile, Percy zipped up his hoodie while nodding, "street light is on, you should head home, ill head down to the doc's, maybe one of the fisherman can let me crash with them", Percy said smoothly.

Percy gave Leo a hair ruffle and yelled goodbye before he ran off.

Percy inhaled the salty sea air with a grin, Percy bounded down the bay, eyes set on a ship.

Percy leaped down and  went to the slid door, locked.

Percy banged his fist on the door"DAAAAAD!", it flung open, "hot dang, boy! Your knuckles must be bloody from nockin so hard", a bright Hawaiian shirt greeted him, Percy tilted his head up with a grin.

"Hi dad", the sea god smiled down at him , "you seemed ruffled, my boy", Poseidon tussled Percy's hair, wood chips flew out, Percy shrugged and allowed his dad to usher him inside.

"Have you eaten?", Percy shook his head and dropped his bag on the couch, Poseidon turned to the small fridge and began rummaging through it.

"So, do you want to talk about the school Fiasco?", Percy groaned and fell onto the couch, "what! As a dad i should be concerned, after all it's important to know what your child does for fun-", Percy felt his face burn and he laughed,

"dad! It wasn't for fun!"

"Was it too impress a girl?"

"No! gross!"

Poseidon lifted Percy up into a sitting position and handed him a bag , "your favorite","burger? No onions?", Poseidon nodded and Percy gave a grin before digging in.

"I saw a gorg- a goru- a what's it called", Percy nibbled at his food for a second as Poseidon sat next to him.

"Gorgon", Percy nodded, Poseidon leaned back, eyes set on his son, he gave a smile, "I'm content".

"Yeah?"

"Yeah".

Percy offered his dad a bite of his food, witch he took gladly, Percy swatted at him when he reached for a fry, "oh come on-"," I was feeling generous, you pushed it", Poseidon laughed.

Poseidon reached back and grabbed a blanket from a small cubby, "you been sleeping well?", Percy shrugged, his dad gave him a worried look, "remember what I told you about nightmares ?".

"They arnt nightmares, it's a vision", Poseidon nodded and gathered the trash in Percys lap , he tossed the blanket over Percy's head in a silent demand.

Percy sat back a curled on the couch, relaxing and peeking at his dads back as he crumbled up trash and opened back up the fridge, "dad?", Poseidon turned and popped a grape in his mouth, "when are you sending me to camp?".

Poseidon startled, bumped his head on the fridge door , and stumbled back into the bait closet, he scrambled out before regaining his posture and striding over to the couch, where he knelt next to Percy's head.

"Why you wondering?", Percy averted his gaze, "ever since I brought back the bolt ,I keep seeing Monster's, and I- if I leave maybe mom could wake up?", Percy saw his dad waver, eyes become unsteady and glazed over.

"Soon"

"I just want a little more time with my boy", Poseidon gave a sly smile, "is this a trick to see that daughter of athena?", Percy went red, "no".

It wasn't until midnight that Percy woke up to the sound of someone calling out to his dad, he sat up with ruffled hair and a baffled look, over the sink was an open iris message, Percy crawled to his feet and went to the message.

"Percy? What in Hades are you doing up at this hour?", it was Hermes, he looked confused and worried, "what are you calling for?", Percy groaned, still grumpy.

"Where is Poseidon?", Percy turned and opened the screen door, he climbed the latter and saw his father at the wheel, "Dad! Hermes is iris messaging you", Poseidon turned a grabbed at Percy in a playful manner, "take the wheel then ".

Percy huffed but grabbed it while his dad went inside, he heard muttering and then his dad was back, but not how he expected, "let's go!",Percy squawked as his dad lifted him off his feet and threw him off the boat.

"Dad what the hades!", Poseidon had Percy by the habd, and was willing the water the shoot them in a strongg current towards the shore, "we- you are in danger, as is another half blood", Percy gripped his dads hand as they rode to shore, two pegasi greeted them.

"Let's go", Poseidon helped Percy up on one horse, "where are we going?", Poseidon jumped on his own steed, "the avengers tower".
