"What did you just said"?

Behram was moving towards her and she blushed avoiding his eyes and cursed herself mentally.

"Uh nothing"

"You just said my name didn't you" The look on his face was the one when someone desires desperately for something but hide it in the corner of their heart.

"Uh well.Shouldn't i call you by your name "?? She bit her lip giving him the most innocent look she could muster .

"You never did before" He sat near her and she backed up a little

"I did actually when you were beating the crap out of Saif.I was calling you continuously"

"From now on i want you to call me by my name" He said in a casual but strong tone and she nodded

"Um hmm"  

They looked at each other silently for a few seconds then Mahi shrugged looking at him

"What"?? 

Behram's  gaze fell to her silky soft hairs and landed on her shoulders to her neck to her soft lips.He averted his eyes back to hers and she shifted uneasily

Mahi saw his injured knuckles and pointed a finger at them

"Did anyone tend to your knuckles yesterday"??

"Uh yeah i did" He said sheepishly .Mahi glared at him mutely and raised a brow

"You call that tending to your wounds.Your knuckles are turning purple for God sake" She snatched his hand and he flinched

"Oww "

"Shit sorry"

"Its alright" 

Mahi took his hand again softly this time and ran a finger on them lightly.

"I'll get a bandage"

"No you are sitting here.Your foot is injured"

"But your knuckles" She insisted and he sighed .He already knew she wasn't going to let it go.One minute she was fighting with him the other she was a totally different girl.Behram remembered her conversation with Saif when she told him how she trusted her husband and how loyal she was to him.His heart swelled with pride and leaned and kissed her cheek out of nowhere

Not expecting this she gasped loudly and looked at him with shock with her mouth open

Behram smiled sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck with his hand and got up from the bed to fetch a bandage from the bathroom cupboard

"Inko kya hua achanak" 

(what happened to him all of a sudden)

She traced her fingers lightly on her cheek where his lips were just a minute ago and her face heated up ,she gulped at his boldness and tried not to think about it.

Behram came out of the bathroom with a first aid box in his hand and settled it on the bed in front of her.She avoided his eyes and started working on his knuckles.

She was cutting the bandage with a scissor when she she felt him leaning on her ,Mahi felt his hand wrapping around her waist and her hands stop working all together when he kissed her cheek again.

"Wh..what are you doing"?? She tried to wiggle out of his arms when he tightened his grip on her.She was squirming in his grip but he didn't let her go.

He kissed her forehead,moving to her cheeks and kissed her eyelids.

Mahi automatically put her hands on his chest shoving him back but it was like he was in some sort of trance.His other hand caught both of her wrist tightly and he traced his lips on her neck kissing it softly again and again.

"Thank you" he whispered in her ear and she whispered back shivering

"F..for wh..what"??

"For staying loyal to me .When you told him that you were my wife and you wren't going to leave me for him,you don't know how much that means to me...you have no idea how much i cherish your loyalty Mahi .I promise you one thing today .I'll always be yours no matter what happens.No matter how much you and i fight.I'll always be yours". 

His eyes bored through hers and she stopped squirming and relaxed in his arms..she smiled shyly at him and he leaned in again.Mahi pushed him back and he playfully glared at her but still didn't took his arms off her waist.Her crimson cheeks were making him tease her more.

"Just once" he whispered leaning in again and she frowned

"Just once what"?

He pointed at his cheek and demanded in a teasing tone

"Kiss me"

"Huh"?? Mahi's face paled at his demand and she panicked.She never kissed a man in her whole life.She was not used to being physical with him but her mind denied her protests all at once

He is your husband

You can kiss him if you want too

"Relax i am just talking about a peck on the cheek not you know on the li.."

"Shut up" Mahi smacked his arms and he started laughing at her shyness.She adorably glared at him and he looked back at her softly

He leaned again and Mahi sighed turning towards his cheek just as she was about to kiss ,he turned his head around and captured her lips with his in a long deep kiss.
