I pounded on the cabin door. He wasn't answering me. Of course he wasn't answering me. It had been a week since we talked and I was scared I had ruined what we had.

"Will, please," I said, choking back tears. "I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry. Just... I have to see you. Please let me see you."

The door swung open.

"Hey, Nico," he said.

"Oh, gods, I'm sorry," I said, practically jumping into his arms. He stiffened for a second, but let me hug him.

"I'm sorry too. I talked to Piper, and I... I just kind of forgot about the whole history thing."

"The whole... oh."

"If you want to take it a little slower, that's okay. I just want you to feel safe."

"Th-thank you."

"You're welcome," he said, smiling at me. "Are we still..."

"Yes, of course, I- yeah."

He grinned. That stupid smile was so cute. I could tell, in spite of myself, I was blushing a little. I smiled back at him. My boyfriend.

That was so nice to say, my boyfriend. It had always been this forbidden thing, this evil, and now it was okay. I wasn't going to have to hide it anymore. It would take a little getting used to, but I was so happy that I could finally be myself.

"So, should we..."

"Kiss?" Will took my hand. "Yes, we should."

"That's NOT what I was going to--!!"
