The Assassin

Aliah walked out of McGonagall's office. She had to find Draco and tell him that Harry was hot on his trail. Aliah looked down the corridor. "Where the hell are you Draco?" Aliah walked the corridors to the first floor. She didn't where she was going but her intuition told her to go there.

Aliah passed the girls bathroom when she heard a noise. She stopped in her path and did a three sixty turn on the spot. No one was around. Aliah took a step forward then heard the noise again. The noise was muffled but Aliah was positive that someone was in trouble. Aliah ditched her search for Draco and ran into the abandoned bathroom.

A cubic door slammed closed. Aliah ran to the door and knocked softly, "hey are you ok? My name is Aliah, Aliah Snape," Aliah said. No response came from behind the door but from two cubicles down a moaning sound emerged and a ghost floated in the air.

"Who are you?" the ghost spoke

"My name is Aliah Snape, and yours?"

"Ah yes I've heard about you, Snape's daughter. I'm Myrtle but most people call me Moaning Myrtle," Myrtle huffed

"that's rude, nice to meet you," Aliah smiled. Myrtle's mouth dropped then looked to the stall Aliah stood in front of.

"There is no getting through to him, just leave he wants to be alone,"

"He?" Aliah turned to the door, "please come out,"

A moment passed and the cubicle door opened. It was time for Aliah's mouth to drop.

"Dr....Draco?" Aliah's heart sunk. He looked terrible. Aliah wrapped her arms around his neck and used one hand to press his head into her shoulder. She ran her fingers through his hair as he quietly sobbed. Draco hugged Aliah's waist tightly and dropped to his knees and buried his head in her chest.

"I...can't...can't...." he sobbed

"you can't what?" Aliah kneeled down and lifted his head. His red, puffy eyes looked hollow in their sockets, his cheeks were tear stained and his body trembled from trying to support himself. Draco moved his gaze from Aliah's worried eyes to the ghost. Aliah turned to Myrtle and kindly asked her to leave them alone. Myrtle hesitated but agreed as she saw another tear escape Draco. Aliah grabbed his face with her hands, "tell me, what this task is?"

"He will kill you, I can't,"

"He's killing you at the moment and that is what is killing me. Tell me Draco,"

"I have to kill..." Draco couldn't finish the sentence

"Who Draco? Who do you have to kill?" Aliah said sternly

"Dumbledore," Draco looked at her. Aliah gasped and her eyes widened. Aliah kissed him forcefully and whispered, "I'm sorry," before she jumped and ran out of the bathroom.
