Nuh-uh. This was not happening. I don't so much feel the pull towards him like not even a string, well maybe a little, and was that what it felt like for a mate to finally find his match?
No I don't think so.
I was pacing in the room with my head clouded. It was just an hour ago that a settlement had happened, and due to my beguiling looks, I was granted out of the cuffs and more so.
My eyes were wide as saucers, having to grasp what the Alpha had just said.
I was in no way feeling connected.
I wanted to burst out of this prejudicion and into the homy forest. Like I used to, but here I am trapped and in no pursuit to reply.
"I've been drawn to you the moment I stepped foot on this very room," His tantalizing gaze stared through my panicked ones, "And I have no idea what is it about you..."
"Maybe because you haven't met a female rogue before?" I helped trying to sound innocent. Even the word rogue seemed like a foul word to my mouth.
I was wary enough to be staying in the locked room, with him and with no one to ask help for.
My only hope was for him to not to do the unthinkable...
"Come to think of it, you're right. What's your name?" My head perked up to him, he was really well built, his bulging muscles were sculpted in a way that he doesn't look like a steroid-induced wrestler. His brows knitted together and a small crease on his forhead was visible to my eye, it looked cute. His nose was the perfect fit and his lips, red and slightly swollen, from our mini make out session.
Any female under his radius would faint at the sight of him. He was really that delicious. Well I'm not sure, myself.
I blinked then answered, short and clipped.
"Stella."
A smile formed on his gorgeous face, and I could just imagine him running my name over his head. That he liked it.
"I like it."
And I wonder how long I'd be chained to this contraption.
Truth be told, I wanted to run as fast as I could and continue my journey. But that would be a plan for later because I was going to let them have to trust me first.
I went back inside the bathroom and stared at myself at the mirror.
I had the worst face.
Dark circles surround my eyeballs, and my face pale as a ghost.
I looked down as my hands gripped on the sink, staring at nothing.
"What if I give you something of your freedom?" He suddenly said and I looked up my eyes glinting with hope.
He had a small smile on his face, feeling like he was the luckiest man alive.
"A life of not being a rogue, be in a pack, a family, and you can freely roam around the pack territory without any hesitation," I know it was too good to be true.
"And what is it that you require of me?"
"Be my luna." I choked on his words, not expecting that out of his sickly sweet mouth.
What do I do? Thinking it through made it more real than necessary.
I was susceptible to this type of case, the part where I lost count of choices and the only choice was to give away my happiness.
"Okay." If I could stop my mouth from babbling, maybe I could think my way out of this situation.
I groaned, three days. I have three days to get my shit together. Three days before I'd be welcomed to the pack, and three days from a rogue, to a luna.
I really need a plan. And a backup plan, and a backup plan to that backup plan. ASAP. (i got this from a line from @MissKatey 's book, i put up credits here hehe ❤)
I gathered my thoughts and left the bathroom. I was in a white off-shoulder dress, the hem were kind of an intricate lace, and stopped mid thigh, a little short for my liking but it was the only dress that was given to me, temporarily.
I prefered my cloak over this, but it was nowhere to be found.
Anyhow, I found myself wandering the long narrow hallway to the second floor of the house, there weren't any living being to be seen which was odd considering that I heard noises from outside the room.
My head wandered from the ceiling to the portraits on the wall. There was one that caught my interest, there was a child and a couple beside him, well technically behind him. The child had jade eyes, similar to the woman who was smiling carelessly at the camera, and the man beside him tried to smile, and it made me chuckle.
A cough from behind startled me, and I jumped facing the intruder, only to see a familiar face.
"Hello, princess." It was James, the Beta, an amused look plastered on his face.
I put a hand on my chest, a mock indignation, "You startled me!"
He chuckled whilst seizing the chance to look me over, an unfamiliar glint on his eyes, and i barely could notice it.
"Um," He cleared his throat, "The Alpha wants to see you." He was back to his grinning face.
Come to think of it, I don't even know that Alpha's name and I'm here agreeing to anything.
"He'll tell you when you see him." He answered chuckling, I turned a shade of red.
"I said it out loud, didn't I?"
I was only given a wink. Cheeky Beta.
My face heated up and I followed him unto the long hallway. Never bothering to look up from the stares that I had know received.
It was going to be a long way, and a long day for a plan-making. I'd just hope it won't backfire like it did the last time.
