Chapter Three Isabella's Pov (Edited)

I still can't believe I almost killed a human. I thought to myself.

James said he still loved me even if I did but I still feel bad for almost killing a harmless human.

*I almost shifted because of her he belongs to us and nobody else,* My wolf growled.

*I know he's ours and nobody can have him,* I said back.

"Talking to your wolf little mate," James asked?

"Yeah I was sorry were you trying to talk to me," I asked?

"No I was just getting worried because your eyes were glossed over," James said.

"Oh sorry Alexia was just yeah," I said while looking down.

"Hey don't worry okay you didn't shift and before she could even see your eyes I got you away," He said.

"Okay," I said while still looking down.

I went and took a shower and got dressed in one of James' shirts. When I came out of the bathroom James' eyes were going from there normal brown color to a black.

"I know what you are thinking and if you even try I will hit you and yes Alex i'm talking to you," I said while smiling.

Alex growled in response. Alex then went into the bathroom at first I didn't know what he was doing until I heard the shower running.

(Sorry babe.) I mindlinked James.

(Yeah whatever.) James said back.

30 minutes later he came out in just some basketball shorts. It was then my turn to try and fight off my wolf.

*Let me out,* My wolf Alexia growled.

*No cause I'm not ready to fully mate yet,* I growled back.

*I know but please,* She said.

*No now leave me alone,* I growled at her before blocking her out.

"So baby, who were you talking to," James ask?

"You already know," I growled.

"I know hey shh it's okay," James said.

"I love but hate my wolf sometimes," I growled.

James started laughing.

"Yeah I know that feeling," He said.

"Yeah don't we all," I said.

"Lets just go to bed, please," I asked?

"Sure baby girl," James said while leading me over to the bed.

I climbed into the warm covers. I soon fell into a dreamless sleep next to my mate.

"Baby girl get up," James said while shaking me.

"Why should I," I said with a whine?

"You need to get up because your old alpha is on his way and you and your brother are going to have to go in the basement for a little but hide your scent now Adrian already did," James said kind of panicked.

"I don't want to leave you though," I whimpered.

"I know baby I don't want to leave you either," James said with a whimper of his own.

I hugged my mate one more time before I went to find my brother and to go down to the basement.

"By the way baby girl there's a fridge full of stuff for you and your brother to snack on and to drink and there's also a tv set down there," James said before hugging me one more time.
