The Abused mate

Chapter Eight Isabella's Pov (Edited)

James had to go to a meeting so I went and hung out with my brother. It was almost midnight when I fell asleep. Adrian told me that he would wake me up when James gets back from his meeting or if not then James would probably carry me to our room. Around three in the morning I felt myself being lifted up off the bed and carried. I felt sparks so I knew who it was right away.

I cuddled up to his chest trying to stay warm. A whimper left my lips when he layed me on the bed and he walked off.

*Is he mad at us,* I asked my wolf?

*Baby girl you did nothing wrong to make him mad at you,* Alexia said.

I cut her off after that and I tried to go to sleep.

Every time I would try though an image of Brian popped into my head.

I don't want to go with him, but what if he trie... I was brought out of my thoughts by James coming over to me and picking me up and putting me on his lap.

"I'm sorry baby," James said before kissing my mark.

"For what," I asked back?

"For being at the meeting for a long time," He said.

Before he could've said anything else I turned myself around so that our chest was pressed up against each other. Before he could ask me what I was doing I captured his lips with mine. He kissed back right away.

"Baby you sure you want to," He asked?

I just nodded and that's all it took for him.

I got up around noon, I tried to get up to go to the bathroom but when I did I almost fell due to the pain. James was by my side instantly.

"Baby are you okay? Did I hurt you really bad," James kept asking?

"Babe i'm fine i'm just a little sore that's it." I said while trying to walk to the bathroom. 

Before I made it to the bathroom I fell to my knees when I felt our pup kick.

James came to me and when he did he helped me up, I then took his hand and put it on my belly.

"It's kicking," He said while smiling.

"Yeah, we also have an appointment to go to today," I said.

"We get to see if it's a boy or girl today," He said while smiling.

"Yeah we do so go get a shower so we get go because the appointment is in an hour," I said.

James hugged me and kissed me before he grabbed his clothes to go to Adrians shower. I then grabbed my clothes and walked into our bathroom. Once I was done I walked into our room and when I did James was on the bed playing on his phone.

"Hey babe you ready," I asked?

"Yeah baby I am, let's go," James said.

I grabbed my jacket before walking to my black and purple mustang. I sat in the passenger seat so James could drive. He told me he didn't want me to drive anyways due to me being pregnant. James then climbed in and started the car, once we got going I started shaking a little.

"Baby what's wrong," James asked?

"What if something's wrong with our pup," I said.

"Baby you and the pup are both going to be fine and I will make sure of that," James said while smiling.

When we got there James told me to stay put, so I did. James walked over to my side and opened the door for me. We walked to hand in hand to the front desk.
